I'm sick of manlets on youtube and forums posting their videos acting like they are so strong because they can bench/squat/deadlift a high number for their bodyweight. A 5'6 160 manlet is the equivalent of a 6'2 200 pound man, so stop comparing your relative strength to 6'2 160 pound men. Fawkin manlets

I'm not impressed.

Then grow into a decent weight for your frame, quit bitching, and compare on a body weight adjusted formula like everyone else does.

Manlet raggggeeeee

Give me a formula to use that apparently everyone uses already. I've never heard anyone use a bodyweight adjusted formula (whatever that even means). All I hear is manlets bragging about how they can bench 2x their bodyweight (thats why when manlets post strength videos, they'll put @160 pounds or whatever. Never seen someone of normal height do that) and thinking they are better than everyone else. But I guess manlets need something to be happy about.

I thought up some ideas on how to be smart with financing before (even with an okay job and after cutting costs) and it was an awesome idea, but I forgot it. But another idea was: im the superintendent of my building so I don't pay rent. The best thing I can do is buy an apartment (2 bedroom for like $35,000) from a government owned building, then once it goes private, rent that out for like $10,000 a month while I stay home and collect bank. Or sell it for close to $800,000. My friend just recently did that, except he wasn't a super so he just chose to live in the new, soon-to-be $800,000 worth apartment for only $35,000. THAT'S A STEAL. It woulda been worth like $350,000 but he spent $100,000 to renovate it, and that makes it's worth skyrocket, especially after the building is owned by a private contractor and not a government anymore.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

I'm so confused...

The problem is you're focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the few brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck.

Even if he touched his chest his ROM is extremely short.

True, and that's not even the point I was trying to make

The reason it appears women can abstain from sex easier are biological in nature, but also because they can get sex pretty much whenever they want.

427
Lower your calories and take anabolic assistance.

In all seriousness, if you're a basketball player you should be bulking up. And don't worry about "lifting for strength and not mass". On a calorie deficit you're not going to gain mass. That's against the laws of thermodynamics.

"He never wanted the limelight, so he will just as easily shut up and leave things be

he never claimed to be a fast 100m runner, but over shorter distances he is fast as expected, and I do have a few videos from him, that no one here has seen. Since I respect his privacy, that will remain so" - CCJ on SquatDr

429
No, but I got another good one

"For the record, I think it's ridiculous for people to be calling Alex out, considering we all know that he definitely knows his shit and has impressively turned his passion into a business. Isn't that the ultimate dream anyway? Or maybe I'm just saying all this because I'm his scam artist buddy... " - Taylor Allan

I kind of derailed this thread into funny db hammer quotes, but they are good nonetheless.

Listening to a guy who looks like Tim Legler with a beard?? smh

"Crist, it takes me literally 8 weeks to get the average person up to a 2x bw squat. And guess what???? They're still practicing their sport 2x a week. And going to school or work 40 hours a week. And they don't gain 20 lbs."- jgvbl24

"Fat% shouldn't matter, it's strength/power to weight ratio that counts"- CCJ

"p.s. just bought a house so it may be a little longer until i get a video camera (i'm housepoor, lol), but will be sure to post as soon as i get one"- SquatDR on July 27th, 2006

"well I'm confident I will eventually hit 405x8, which would mean my squat would be around 495lbs"- CCJ

432
i don't recall seeing people successfully do that on forums etc.. most people gain weight then have major issues taking it off while maintaining strength.. as easy as that sounds, it's actually harder for people to gain weight + gain strength then cut that excess fat while maintaining, most everyone seems to have major issues doing so.

Plus if they aren't using any anabolic assistance it's basically pointless to try.

433
Protein post workout is broscience.

They say you "need' it 30 minutes after, but what happens if your workout is longer than 30 minutes? Everything you did in the beginning is wasted?

434
Yes but you can probably only improve so much without weight gain/muscle gain, so neurally. Then you kind of need to gain weight in the right places to get your squat up and to improve on your ratio. It would be great if you were able to squat more and more without muscle gain, but that's pretty much impossible.

Source? Or are we just going to give our opinion on things but make statements as if they were facts.
