just being real, going from 1st OA to 2nd OA without getting passed, is such a shit feeling. third time it's happened to me, 2nd time at this race. it sinks in during the announcements heh. i guess if you're really competitve, stuff like this feels worse. i've got no problems losing straight up. my eye sight sucks when i race. if youre in the lead by "alot", you can feel pretty lost out there. it's an interesting feeling. ffs tho, races need someone at a turn around, especially when it's a multi distance race (5k/5 miler in this case)... would be nice if race orgs didn't drop the ball with this stuff, it's pretty simple to get right.
.
the winner ran 17.45, and i was probably ~30s ahead.... fml. without the wreckage, probably would have been a 5k PR for me.
.
whatever. rare rant over.

oh ya, i got "beat" by a girl (#fau #ncaa).. she fast af. #goowls. #owlpride. #fmlx2. #runlikeagirl.
I def agree that when connor does shit he's thinking it's all fun and games regardless of the consequence but he didn't realize who he was messing with especially his background.
but really stupid to see why khabib would let someone get under his skin to jump out and attack and khabib's men attacked connor is also stupid.
khabib won and this is where it should have ended.

damn that was nuts.
i really like khabib, but man that was so stupid. he really fucked up.
also, seeing conor getting attacked from all angles AFTER a fight, that is so awful.
man this is serious bad blood after that bus incident + all of the shit talk.. i think these guys would have tried to kill each other.
awful.
also: Conor ran into a monster.
Security actually did a great job containing everything. That easily could have escalated into a full scale riot if fans started attacking Khabib's entourage etc.
The guy in red that sucker punched Conor from behind is a dog!

Bodyweight@session : ???
Soreness : again quads, glutes, abductors, chest, lats , all 4/5
Injuries/aches : none
Went for a recovery/blood-flow run.
My intention was to finally hit the 10km milestone in a slow controlled pace, no matter how long it takes ( expecting to start at 7'/km and and at 7'30'' due to fatigue ).
First 5-6km were easy. Pace was just below 7'/km. Around 6,5km i felt too tired, the sore legs started hurting. I decided to quit at 7.5km.
But then, around 7km something changed, i 'zoned in' , it all became mechanical and effortless.
Got 10km in 1:09:17 with an average pace below 7' and the fastest km being the 10th ( 6'45'' ).

My team the Adelaide 36ers won the 1st and 3rd quarter but the Jazz blew it out in the 4th quarter. The final score wasn't reflective of the contest. The Jazz won by 30 points but at the start of the 4th quarter there was only 3 points in it!
