In that picture, is that what you would consider a half squat depth? Or is it deeper?

ya that's what i consider half, a little above 'parallel', even tho my knee angle is 90.

people on forums call those 1/8th squats... weird

Cool. 1/8th squats?? Crazy stuff. Ill consider them deeper than half.

I agree with Raptor. Save to outbox should be on by default.

I need to get in on this. I can't compete in the squats cause of my knees but I can try to get good videos of my jumps. I used to have a decent standing long jump (broad jump) so I'll try to get some vids up on that.

Great mang. You do that. I should get a broadjump filmed as well. Probably when the weather changes Ill do that.

Can i do the broad jump in the sand pit? Or does it have to be on an even surface?

not that i'm the judge, but i feel like even surface keeps it fair. we don't all have sandpits to jump into.

Problem is my knees explode from doing the broad jumps on hard surfaces because i always try to get a big distance...

Bball has a point though. Sandpit does inflate numbers a little because of the landing, so Ill have to say no sandpit.

Grass is good?

Depends how much you smoke.

But yeah, grass is fine.

arms too skinny. more curls.

I tried curling that bar. Couldnt be done. Settled for lifting it of the ground instead.

Will go find a light pinetree and curl that.  :highfive:

iLike

Tak.

Switch to mixed grip, your going to kill that weight once you do it.

??? hes using a mixed grip......

Yeah wtf, not sure why I thought it was pronated.

Man would I like to be able to pull 3x210 overhand without hook.

How big is Thorkildsen? I know javelin throwers aren't as big as weight throwers, but still, anyone approaching normal size(i.e. not tiny gymnast size with colossal arms) doing an iron cross is unreal.

Hes 6'3-6'4 and 200lbs

Its highly likely that all the athletes in that vid juices. But as long as it has not been proved Id rather be ignorant and enjoy it.  ;D

It's all speculation though. That usually comes from the haters.
