x2 on the orthotics. I got some through a physio nearly 20 years ago. Completely fucked up my feet.

On the boxing front, if you're not sparring too hard then all good. If you're planning on fighting then you'll have to spar a decent amount. Just something to keep in mind.

Bringing back the old log!

New plans for the future-
- get ankle healthy again (left ankle has some serious issues right now) then get back to jumping and sprinting
- get bench press to 100kg+ and upper body mass up
- get waist to 34" at whatever bodyweight supports that
- get strong AF on squats and deadlift (160 & 200 are medium term goals)
- end goal is bodyweight in the mid to high 90s at 10-12%bf

I did take my stats on the weekend too but lost the fucking page (if I find it I will update these later). From what I remember it was:
-Waist 36"
-Biceps 15"
-Chest 42"
-Weight 95kg

Been down most of this road before.  I'm taking a much longer term view right now. Still want a 40" vert but that's going to have to wait till I get the ankle right and some other things fall in place. Did some 1RM testing last week and am now on an 8 week bench program and will follow that with an ATG infused PPL style program. Lots of volume while I get my ankle sorted as I won't be running or jumping at all. Left ankle is so weak and heaps of shit isn't firing right meaning the bones are taking too much impact. I'm going IIFYM on diet and for the first time in forever will be eating at or above maintenance all the time  :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Also going to start posting training videos here again. Looking back through this log I'm so much more compliant and focused on training when I do.

Anyway 1RMs...

Squat- 130

Good on you for standing up for yourself. Too often these guys get something completely wrong and we're the people who pay for it.

Boxing would be interesting. You sure you need more head damage after all those years of rugby :D Actually only half joking. All this CTE and concussion stuff is pretty scary.

Ball game. Nothing special. We're top of the ladder and played 3rd. Was a decently difficult game but we won by 20. I was super tired and have been eating no to low carb all week. Tried loading up on caffeine which worked for a bit but not great. Did have a couple of jumps where I sailed over people which is still fun. Last game of the season next week then onto finals.

Read this one in 2 days. Easy read and a typical Jack Reacher novel. Massive dude intimidates and kills a bunch of people. Helps a girl out of her underpants many times. Wins in the end. Almost the perfect book.

Only just started this. It's already changed how I talk to my kids and with surprisingly easy results.

This one requires some concentration for me. Taking a shit ton of notes but it's defintely worth it.

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say the last book is full of shit.

I haven't read the book but I can imagine the message. Don't rely on others and make money to look after yourself. He/it may not be to everyone's liking but I think it's a message more people need to listen to. Making money is a different kind game to what everyone is taught in school.

I know I'm biased but seriously check out @kneesovertoesguy on IG. The split squat is incredible for evening up single leg strength and increasing ankle mobility. That and a reverse deadmill has my knees feeling like a million dollars. I hate seeing people injured mate and would love to see you getting back on the court.
thanks im on it, will check it out. so far the BSS seems to have given me wicked doms in my R glute (which is the leg i did them with) AND wicked doms in my L quad (which is the leg i didnt do them with). i dont care about working out my glutes so it's paradoxical to find the wrong leg sore. im too lazy to do equal amounts of reps with both legs. giving them 6 weeks though.

I get wicked doms from the split squats. I'll pm you a link to some vids of him talking through the information. I sometimes feel like I'm going backwards with these things but when I start jumping and running pain free without fear of my knee collpasing it's incredible.
