So, after going  down on the weight and finally achieving good form on full squats, why are you doing only halfs on both free and box squats?
It looks like you are scoobychau-ing a bit , you have lance and stevenmiller advicing you with patience and in detail how to improve your full squat and you keep going back to halfs!
Just saying...

1 day later:
same bw, same circumference

Bodyfat scale estimation : 14,6% , ( -1,1% )

So i guess i am around 15%, that's how it looks too.
Goal for the next 10 days: another 2-3 lbs and ~1% bf.

Really lol'd!

But Lance's rant is 100% justified imho...
I also see it as scooby's last chance for a reality check, final call!

9 August 2012

Ive been dieting all week. Consuming about 1500KCals low carb-high protein.
I did nothing active besides recreational swimming ~30 minutes every day.
Quad feels fine, i can do BW lunges with no bugging at all now, 10 more days of rest+swimming for better recovery.

Net weight in the morning : 184lbs ( 83,65kg ) , ( -3,5 lbs )

Waist : 35'' ( 89cm ) , ( -1cm )

Bodyfat online estimation : 17,3% ( -0,3% )

The weight loss is fake, i didn't really lose 3,5 lbs in 1 week, the initial measurement was the next morning after weightlifting and eating big previous night.
As for the waist/bf ratio, i don't trust it so much , just keep it as reference. My built is to gather all fat at my waist. 2'' above that my circumference is 3cm cmaller ( 86cm / 33,8'' ). The cut is more successful on visible judgement too, waist looks the same but overall i already see a difference, shoulders/biceps/lats/quads are more toned and i can see my top 2 abs now.

Next update in 10 days when vacations end.

^Nah, i am just lucky to have very healthy tendons/knees so i can go jump whenever i want.
My achievements are just average or a bit above, 11'' for a 35'' RVJ in 4 years is sweet but nowhere near beast.
I think its doable for anyone with my determination/consistency, that's where most people fail imho.

USA lost with all its steroid abuse. Nothing to see here people!

looks 100% natural bro, i bet he is on paleo diet...

Because he's weak. I expected better from a 37 year old, something like what vag dunks.

A personal insult? Were you really that butthurt or is it just terrible humor?

We have very similar squat issues, forward lean due to long limbs etc. I use the knee break too , it has helped me a lot, although i have a long way to go yet.
But the main reason i am posting is the front squat. That 100x3 is very tight! Drastically improving form while hitting 3RM PRs is no joke!
:highfive:

I am shouting because we have discussed this , twice :

Until you find the 300lbs guy jumping 50'' and shattering the backboard, please don't post a skinny 6'8'' barely landing a single hander with a small ball.

1) WE DON'T WANT DUNKS IN THE BEAST THREAD!
2) Even if we want dunks, where is the beast? Ok, she is a woman so it's rare to see ingame dunks, but she is 6'8'' using a smaller ball, she needs like 20'' vert to dunk it...

^ I said i have long legs! I meant all 3 of them...

Wow, so much feedback! Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts.
I just want to say that i wasn't whining or looking to change something to my training. A solid plan and progressive overloading is all that is to it, absolute numbers don't really matter, if progress is constant for a long time the numbers will get big in the end.
What i really wanted was an "official" confirmation that limb length leverages do affect the 'starting' absolute numbers and also the push/pull ratios.
Also i must say that am very happy with my long ass arms and legs as they have helped me a lot playing my beloved sport, basketball. Also if they were shorter i might have squatted and benched more, maybe i would have gained more than 11'' that i did now too, but maybe that wouldn't have been enough to make that 10' dunk true.
So yeah , long limbs FTW!  8)
