Nah but seriously, you can see she will look good when she grows up. Nothing pedophiliac about that, just observation.

He reminds me of Rodney Carney.

Yeah but it looks extremely hard even from the 5th rep or so... to me, it doesn't make any sense to use that kind of weight.

Why the heck would you go overboard like that in terms of weight... it's obvious you can't do it for 8 reps...

But then again - nothing is surprising about you anymore.

Very nice. These front squats should really help you.

This used to be a text document I had in my computer circa ~2000 or so... had all these crazy VJ numbers.

Quote
Wilt Chamberlain   NBA   7' 1"   48"

2.16m height + 1.20m jump = 3.36m head height. Basically Wilt was with his head at 11'1. Sounds pretty legit.

I know because I suck off two feet, and I tend to have this bad high center of gravity run-ups that when I actually plant I "crash" into the ground and never recover. So I'm actually doing a depth drop, stabilizing the landing, and then do a standing vertical jump. Except instead of that I have a "momentum" SVJ which results in a HORRIBLE jump.

You probably maintain a lower center of gravity during the run-up in the successful ones.

How do you feel so far vs where you started... in terms of everything?

Yup. If you see your run-up speed starting to decrease considerably, that's the first sign of a "upperleg dominant" jumper if you will.

She's smart, beautiful and really athletic. I mean what more do you want? Pure awesomeness.

It's interesting that your running vert went up by 5 inches, but your standing very only went up by 2. You either have some very functional calves/good structure for running jumps and you were really lacking in upperleg/glute strenght, or that you don't really care about the standing jump.

Any ideas?
