Kinda makes you question his reputation of knocking everybody he shared the ring with and may stain his record.

Thinking about it logically (my 2 cents logic)

The quarter squats would help improve cleans but you would also have to train the other movements of the clean or snatch to such as the pull, hang, explosive hip extension as it is an explosive movement compared to the squats.

The quarter squats compared to the full squats would involve different muscles being activated.

Top half range of motion: From just above thighs parallel to standing, the loading demand will be greater on your hip extensors. This means that your glutes, adductor magnus (inner thigh), and to a lesser extent, hamstrings, are most activated in this range of motion.

Bottom half range of motion: From about thighs parallel and below, the loading demand will be greater on your knee extensors. This means that your quads are most activated in this range of motion.

With jumping or sprinting acceleration, gaining strength in the limited knee bent that takes place and then doing explosive work in that same range would help a lot.

I think I remember they did study that showed partial squats providing better strength to jumping than full squats.

505LB BEASTLY SQUATTING MY GUY!!!!

505LB is a massive lift and a massive milestone. Definitely deserves something to mark this moment.

Here is something I made in paint with my laptop with some editing and copying the muscle legs.

 :goodjobbro:       :lololol:

EDIT: Had to edit, as I couldn't see where the shirt ended and made it cover the back of your butt lol and some other stuff, but fixed it.

Got the covid test result back.

Negative.

Just got myself tested again, don't ask how. Decided to go to a walk in centre.

Had to do the test myself, which there is risk of errors touching the tongue when sagging tonsils when you are not supposed to.

Let's see what the results bring back.

Santa Cruz vs tank davis

Great fight. Santa cruz showing his brawling abilities which were too much for Davis who had to switch from boxing to power it out.

Brutal ending.

I see.

My double leg is lacking way behind. Today i decided to hold on to dumbbells shoulder width high in front. Weight is 8.3kg each hand and with the ankle weights. Then after 5 reps I stopped the weights and just with ankle weights and then without weights.

Double leg was measured at 2.3m. Single leg was 1.87m.

I haven't been training the single leg broad jump, but probably from the sprint starts, that's what may have contributed to it, such as sprint step to 1 step as far as I can.

Will just stick with double leg then.

Also single leg jump, I land on one leg which is followed by other leg straight after less than a second difference, but with weight I land double leg, reduce stress.

But will need to find out how to improve my technique, my thought was add weight to improve. Will post a video and maybe you can let me know where I am going wrong in my technique and any others views are also welcome.

what was the starting distance for each? for SL broad jump, what leg are you landing on? same as takeoff, or opposite?

By starting distance you mean when I first started training? 1.5m for right leg and 1.35m for left leg.

I land on the same leg as my take off leg.

358
I have been practicing and strengthening my broad jumps.

My single leg Broad jump for both legs is around 1.8m + a little more.

But my double leg Broad jump is only maxing at 2.4m.

It's hard for me to get further than this. Seems like my single leg jump is progressing only.

?!?!?!??!?! you have/had the symptoms! how can they deny you the free test? or, are you 100% sure you can't get it? jesus christ the UK seems like the worst country on earth w/r/t covid and i'm in the US, where the president's chief of staff yesterday announced outright that they're giving up on fighting it.

There is a shortage in tests and there is a big rise of cases in the UK so they are only allowing people with people with high temperature (38+), continuous coughs or loss of taste. So I went online and said I have a high temperature and then you get asked question whether you have been asked to get another test or other requirements and if you don't pass that it says you are not eligible to get the free test. So I will have to lie about my temperature being high and also that I was told to get a test again probably from a doctor. Else sorry no test for me.

it is frustrating the way they are handling it. I had the fever and breathlessness for 2 weeks and 3 days now. It's on and off. If breathlessness continues for 1 month, I will have to go see a doctor. hopefully I should be recovering soon.

Did my workout today and just felt my body temperature go up at the start of the workout. Breathing has become better, feel a little bloated in my stomach.

Short of breath and fever was the main symptom, now not a symptom to get free test. I'm worried about the asymptomatic victims. A lot of people have been turned down free test and they have to resort to a private test, costing from £100 onwards. even though government has said don't just take any test, make sure it's a proper test.

Workout only consisted of broad jumps double leg and single leg thrust forward jumps.
