i feel like i've said this before, but i chuckle every time i see your signature. it's the best signature on here, and i say that as the guy with the second-best signature.
cheers man, i know that's the way. it's just annoying because i've made progress on everything else. but you're talking to a guy who ground away at trying to dunk, inefficiently but more or less relentlessly, for six years before finally doing it. i'll get there eventually.
- GMB F1 W9 D2 right wrist started bothering me during cartwheels. floor kips were shit again today after feeling last time like i'd figured out a way to progress. mental block is strong, very frustrated.
inception is a good plane movie. i've never seen solaris, throwing it on the list now. looks tight.
the best sci-fi movie experience of my life is unquestionably watching 2001: a space odyssey in a restored 70mm print in the beautiful old movie theater where i had my first real job, in high school. they had to expand the screen to show it. if you ever have a chance to watch 2001 in a theater, do it. it's awesome. don't even care what you think of the movie as a movie, the visuals and sound are just incredible.
- GMB F1 W9 D1 turns out the biggest issue for me on pirouettes is doing them on non-flat surfaces. they are much easier on flat and smooth ground. lol. motivation has been super low the last couple of days. counting down until i head back to the states for three weeks in the wee hours of friday. i'm so goddamn excited.
planting RL from that side just seems so weird to me. still, if he's really 5'10 and that's really a 10' rim, then that's comfortably over 50" off a couple of lazy looking steps. jesus.
trae is such a sick player for 5'7...... too bad most coaches don't know this but ALL small scoring pg's are liabilities..... bball world is beginning to finally understand that big pg's are the way to go cuz they have length to see over people to pass the rock to where they want to.....

- GMB F1 W8 D6 started to try to get into some crane instead of crow. playing around with wrist position. struggled with front lever.
fireworks and yelling in the neighborhood right now because pakistan just SMOKED india in the champions trophy finals. bit of a cinderella story this year (although not really because pakistan is a traditional power, they're just a bit down now). i was here in islamabad six years ago when india beat pakistan in the semis of the cricket world cup. this is more fun.
- GMB F1 W8 D5 amazing workout, i just feel great. slept like 10 hours last night, which probably helped, and it's over 100 outside so i got and stayed very warm. practiced handstands during rest periods, tried different stuff for floor kips including finally dragging the mattress off one of the beds in the guest room so i can properly follow the GMB progression. it's thick enough to work.
