my only worry with anything to do with boxes is achilles wear and tear. if you're controlling it pretty well that's alright but just be careful.

120 mins pickup: running pretty hard. Throws get really ugly when my hands get drenched from hyperhidrosis, going to have to either learn to throw with hands soaked or figure out some way to keep them pretty dry.

- jump rope 60/60 x 7-8, with GMB warm up in the rest periods

- pull up x (3,2,1) x 3
so unbelievably weak.

- DB shrug 20s x 20

- KB swing 16 x 20

- tricep pressdown 30 x 15

- handstands
got a couple decent free kick-up holds. somehow these don't bother my shoulder.

shoulder still bugging so no pressing and taking it easy on the ultimate and tennis for a couple more days at least. first time at the gym in ages and ages.

meant to get a workout in this afternoon after my board meeting but i ended up having to stay through the end, 4 hours longer than i thought i'd have to be there. now gotta go to some friends' housewarming and christ do i need a beer. better luck tomorrow.

chiming in late on the jump squat debate to say: even when using DBs, be careful of your lower back. fucked myself up doing jump squats with 25-pound DBs a few years ago because i failed to maintain tight core and let my tailbone tuck under suddenly and under load. very unpleasant.

shoulder worse today. right big toe was also fuxored last night. rest today.

ETA: also, moderate-to-serious quad DOMS.
