bit quick but that's okay.

went to doc today about my ear pain. she said it's not infected, but that i should use a different kind of ear drops than the ones i've been using to deal with wax buildup. apparently that stuff can irritate. anyway not all that satisfying. i mention it only because they took my blood pressure and it was 110/77, which is the lowest it's ever been since i was at least 19.  :personal-record:

nice and..

that run life BP ?? lool. nice!

what happened with the woman whose number you got?

yo man!

Went great.. <3

I took her out to a local park (Riverbend park), which is absolutely beautiful, one of the best within hundreds of miles, and it's a few miles from my house. We ate some acai bowls by the water, then chilled/talked for a few hours, walking the trails. At the end before we left, I surprised her with some "wild flowers" I picked (from the farm hah). She really liked that.

She hit me up that night saying we should hang out again. We'll probably go out again Saturday :d

We seem "crazy compatible", it's kinda nuts.. lmao. She's significantly younger (24). She doesn't own a tv, reads instead. Writes poetry, loves nature, plays violin (apparently very well), teaches violin on the side, is pursuing carpentry, wants a dog, loves animals, loves spicy food, enjoys cooking, rollerblades, works out, believes in ufo's (like me.. lol), loves Florida, goes to the beach to stargaze, goes to shuttle launches, seems like she has alot of empathy/compassion, and more etc.

Not very often that I meet a woman like that. And by not very often, I mean I never have. lol. I don't put myself in positions to meet lots of women, but i've always loved the idea of finding someone like that "organically" - just out of nowhere.

Aside from attraction, easily the most comfortable conversation(s) i've ever had with a woman. She's just so positive & interesting, it's refreshing. I mean it was only one "date" (and like 4 separate conversations), but could very well be gf status in the near future.

Very interested to see where it goes. :ninja:

Thanks for asking!

(Love this post.. That's what this whole "farm life" journey is about for me: nature, positivity etc. Having a good women in that picture would be awesome)

Hello

I'm getting back into vert training. I still have a desire to dunk. I came so close before and have always felt like I have unfinished business. I want to start journaling here to help keep me on track. I browsed through this a couple of weeks ago to see what I was doing before that worked.

My vert sucks right now. I'd guess it to about 29". Over the last few weeks I've only grazed the rim a couple of times but am consistently within an inch of touching it.

I started squatting again within the last two months and have had a huge increase in appetite from it which has led to me gaining almost 10lbs. I think the weight gain has kept my vert stagnant despite the increase in strength.

Yesterday's workout:

jog warmup

dynamic stretching

short sprint at 50%

tuck jumps 2x10

pogos 2x12

4 rvj's with two sets of depth drops in between. I did a set of 3 then a set of 5 off of maybe a 20" box. First time doing anything off the box.

front squat 3x5 with 165lbs but only got 4 on the last set

I've been going back and forth between back squat and front squat.

My last back squat workout was 195 for 3x5 so I think my max is now approaching 1.5xbw. I'm currently weighing low 150's

Finished with two sets of single leg hamstrings curls on a machine.

Side note: I found a video of me jumping about 36" from 4.5 years ago. I think all I was doing was squatting and hang snatches and some yoga if I remember correctly. Unfortunately hang snatches aren't an option for me at the moment with my current gym setup but they seemed to work well for me.

cool man! hope all is good, been a while. :ibsquatting: :ibjumping:

built a 3rd mound. this one is huge, because i planted some full ground fruit trees into it: loquat and ice cream banana. 6 plants in it. took 3 hours.

will post some photos over the weekend maybe.

i have 3 mounds. need 2 more. ;f

edit 2: got full comments on my dissertation today from my adviser. won't even have to ask him about publishing it, he suggested it himself and gave some thoughts about how to change it to be publishable. sweet.

wanted to get a "high end" electric shaver .. got a braun s9. LMFAO that thing is impressive. turned out to be well worth the money (saved $103 on it luckily).

funny.. didn't expect it to work that good. I had ~4 days no shave going on .. wouldn't be able to do that with any electric razor i've ever owned. this thing mowed right thru it in a few minutes, easily.

Found stretching the wrist flexors helped when i had similar issue! Hope it heals quick!

yea that's exactly what it is. thanks for the info! been going on for 3 weeks or so i think.

been trying to stretch wrist flexors, but not helping much yet. i've done some brutal self massage on it, seems to help a bit, until i pick axe again.

had to pick axe yesterday, flared it up more. need to avoid pick axe for a while. not ez tho, farm life kinda requires it. faaawk.

pc man !
