Ran 2 miles or so
Squats with green bands
Singles up to 290+ bands. They might put on like 60lbs or 80.
DE deadlifts: 8x2@225
Cable row 3x10
Lat pulldown 6x10
Idk maybe something else, getting a massage in 5 minutes.
Also hammy curls
Also, got a email from work and they want me trained on the only line I'm not trained on. So that means that ill know everything on the back side of the bottle side and no1 will know more than me that will be up for an apprenticeship.

Anyway I'll be day shift so ill be doing home workouts, probably going to buy a 100lb sandbag bag and maybe a exergenie.

Bought the sandbag and when I do stuff tomorrow I will order the exergenie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A596cForZwo

cool. exergenie reminds me of TRX. can do some cool stuff w/ TRX.

i had a 120 lb sandbag way back in ~2004 or so. left it outside. one day was doing OHP with it. and i started feeling stings. had ants all over me. apparently they got into the bag and i was OHP'n an ant pile. luckily i had a small pool nearby. lmao.

that basketball court really pisses me off. i hate dual basketball/skate-park setups. infuriating. nice hoops tho. :ninja: :ibjumping:

[A] Moroccan runner ... completed the grueling Marathon des Sables through the Sahara Desert earlier this week. He is talented and he is also a dog.

Cactus linked up with the race after Sunday’s opening 20-mile stage, sticking around for the next four stages and 120 miles of running. The Marathon des Sables is a famously difficult race, where competitors have to run an average of 23.5 miles per day for five days straight through the sand, sun, and wind of the unforgiving Sahara of southern Morocco. It’s not the sort of thing anyone does primarily for fun, excepting of course Cactus, who seemed to enjoy his time with the race.

that's cool.

i think it's way harder than it looks. especially in game situations. someone throwing it needs decent timing, beyond just good fundamentals etc.

and ya normal people can't throw lobs for sh*t. 0 timing & 0 placement.

Not sure if I've asked this before but is this the Melbourne comp or a local one?

Nah you haven't, Melb. I literally might have peaked a week ago. Now i can barely squat my warmups or dunk. Lol.

Cool. We should catch up while you're here. Even just for a coffee.

Nah man have confidence. I saw your latest IG post. Shot is looking good. You'll be fine.

id like that. i'll send you a dm on insta! :highfive:

also i did the full court coast to coast dunk drill. i could get 5 reps in before i died of cardiovascular overload. 6 if you include the first dunk starting from half court (i dont!). I did several sets of 5s. Actually a great workout. I wish i started doing it sooner! next time if i hav ea chance i'm going to take a puff of the inhaler .. i have one lying around b/c i thought i might have undiagnosed asthma but i never actually tested my theory out. would be interesting to repeat the drill but with using it.

don't do that plz, thnx. see a doc.

using an inhaler for athletic performance vs saving your life, is.. not a good idea.

2cents.

^^ has some interesting info about how he grew up.. didn't expect that. and he also was a pro poker player for 5 years hah.

he's probably Florida's fastest guy right now, serious range from mile to marathon.

ok so... PLAYOFFS, COMING SOON.

fuck ya.

i'd like to see HOU come out of the West, and MIL out of the East.

:D

it'll probably be GSW vs TOR tho.

Is this going to be the most boring finals series in recent memory? GSW vs TOR sucks IMO. Although Steph has been playing like the Curry of old recently so that's something.

NO. :ninja:

i'd be surprised if GSW/TOR wasn't exciting. TOR is scrappy af with some lights out shooters, good bigs, and Kawhi. Would be cool if it was Spurs/Raptors tho... and DeRozan goes off helping SA win.. lols. I still hate that trade.

GSW isn't a lock tho getting into the finals. Some very strong teams in the West right now who can knock them off.

2019 playoffs going to be exciting :D

damn Magic Johnson stepped down wtf?

I mean you just got LEBRON...

Chauncy saying he'd like to see Kemba go to LA.. Kemba + LEBRON.

I'd love to see LEBRON finish it off strong in LA, needs some more pieces, Kemba would be a good one. NBA is all about big3 building now.. surprised Magic stepped down before all of that. weird.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/magic-johnson-resigns-as-lakers-president-top-takeaways-from-franchise-legends-abrupt-resignation-and-press/

I'd love to see Kemba + Lebron. Kemba does so much on his own I think he'd be a genuine superstar with some other talent to back it up.

Everyone is saying KD + Kyrie in NY too. That will be a show stopper if they can put that together.

i remember that all star game drama, with the private leaked durant/kyrie conversation.

that'd be cool if it happens. i'm all for shakeups. i really detest the knicks tho.. so not wishing them any success :D

but ya they'd definitely get NY back on track. that combo would be lethal.

woke up late this morning. was annoyed. said i'd run tonight.

04/11/2019

very light: 3hr
- https://www.strava.com/activities/2283403388

very solid run. felt great. very relaxed. :ibrunning:

stepped on a solid rock at mile 18 tho, on my already hurting foot. foot buckled. feels kinda janked up right now.

whatever.

dranked nearly a half gal grapefruit juice afterwards. literally nothing better than grapefruit juice after a very long run, or a run with massive water loss. it's bliss.

legs/foot feel beat up right now.

Game post-
This game sucked. New team and new comp. The opposition didn't know how to play. As in seriously didn't know how to play. The refs went easy on them and they traveled a lot, heaps of double dribbles, lots and lots of threes from god know where. It was 45-3 after the first half and we ended up winning 71-8.

wtf? that's awful. LMFAO.

i'd call travel on them every single time. learn to play the game. if someone cant dribble, pass. they could have gone naismith old peach crate style and just passed non-stop without dribbling. lol.

Quote
Side note- I never realised how much of an art form alley oop passing is. I almost think you need to be either- highly skilled or a dunker to know or appreciate where to pass it. Last night they threw me about 8 alleys and all were either about 6ft off the ground or bullets that no one had a chance at catching. Even in the other team I play with who are more skilled have no concept of how or where to pass them.

back when i hooped, i threw tons of alleys and i never got anywhere close to dunking back then. so just decent passer i imagine. also tho, i threw alleys to people i've played with before. doubt i threw an alley oop to someone i never played with.. so having that experience playing with someone probably helps.
