saturday's weights didn't happen. no jumps in a week. I can find too many excuses. Sometimes I suck.

Sunday I made a little more progress. baby steps.

Didn't get too many jumps in felt shaky for some reason. Squats felt solid. major improvement since Saturday.

Since I have been eating cleaner the excess weight comes off pretty quick. 8#s in 2 months.
That couple pounds seems to kill my squat. At the start of july I seemed to start bringing it back, getting reps with 240-245. Today I don't think I could have got 245 up once. August I need to warm up and jump at least twice a week. With out playing b-ball I lose vertical quite quickly.  :uhhhfacepalm:

Feeling lean, below 160#'s for multiple day for the first time in a bit. Seem my lifts are not liking it.

Really struggling as of late. focus has been difficult this summer. Always too much to get done and not enough time.

If only I could man up and make progress my #1 priority.

Feeling the doms from lifting and running. Even though I couldn't move much weight I felt more solid this go.

I have a obstacle 5k run on Saturday. Even after a month of no basketball, a 5k run isn't too bad.

Maybe I should be training for ultra marathons or iron man instead of explosiveness?

Tried to rest up this last week, but it didn't seem to help much. Ended up with a bug this weekend also. Lifted some subpar weights and went on a subpar run.

solid lifts today. It was back in march that I got 4x245. It has been downhill from there. 3 months later and 5 pounds lighter, I am ready for another run at 4x255. Getting reps with close to 1.5xbw feels great for today.

^^^^^ Not sure what they will find. My guess is I am somewhere around average.
It is hard to say if it is nothing more then being married, working a 9-5+, raising three kids, not getting enough sleep, being 36 next month, plus all of life's other challenges. More often then not I don't really feel much past 18. Its braking new ground that is hard. Most of it I'm sure is mental.

Had a late night and didn't get a ton of quality sleep, But my basketball performance this morning was solid. Actually felt strong and light for a change. I'm down a 3 pound in the last few weeks also.
