Avishek is asian?

LOL, first fast does lie thinks Kingfish is asian and now seifullaah73 thinks Avishek is asian... wtf is up with that?

I think you are restricting the term asian to refer to the chinese, japanese, etc that part of asia but india is also considered asian.

I heard its at a catchweight of 152, which means they will have to stay at 152 even at game night.
:o i hope that doesn't make canelo weak as he is comfortable at 154, but coming down 152 and staying there even at game night.

reminds me of marquez having to move up and mayweather didn't meet with his end. i think canelo should surpass the limit and pay any fines and then fight him at a comfortable weight.

Boxing / Official: Mayweather vs Canelo Alvarez its finally here
« on: May 30, 2013, 11:16:39 am »
Its finally official Mayweather vs Saul Canelo Alvarez.

Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez official for Sept 14

Mayweather vs. Alvarez is Set -

It's official, the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather vs. Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is locked and loaded for September 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight will headline a Showtime pay-per-view card, and will take place over Mexican Independence Day weekend, a traditional big fight date. It is the biggest bout which could be made in the sport right now, and it's also the toughest fight out there for Mayweather.

The Mayweather vs. Canelo bout was long presumed to be next for both men, but it's great to see this one finalized nice and early, ending the unnecessary speculation, and allowing all parties to simply focus on the fight ahead. Mayweather announced the decision on Twitter.

Mayweather vs. Canelo will be fought at a catchweight of 152 pounds. There had been some talk that Mayweather wanted Canelo to come down to welterweight, but in reality, that was surely just a negotiating tactic.

Still, on fight night, it's likely that Canelo weighs at least 165 or 170 pounds, offering him a large size and strength advantage. He also has youth and power on his side, presenting a unique challenge for Mayweather to face in his career. Of course, Canelo has never fought anybody that approaches Mayweather's skill-set for experience.

Mayweather (44-0, 26 KOs) is currently rated as the number 1 pound for pound boxer on the planet. He's also the number 1 fighter at 147 lbs.

ProBoxing-Fans.com currently has Canelo Alvarez (42-0-1, 30 KOs) ranked at number 14 on our pound for pound list. He's the number 1 fighter at 154 lbs -- but only because we don't rank fighters in two divisions. Otherwise, Mayweather would still be regarded as the top man in that division as well, and Canelo would be number 2.

Most recently, Canelo earned the biggest win of his career, edging fellow undefeated Austin "No Doubt" Trout, and finally gaining the type of victory he has needed to back up his star power, potential and hype. Mayweather easily got past Robert Guerrero in his last outing, turning back the top challenger available at welterweight.

Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez is a great fight. It's the fight we all wanted to see, and it should be great event for fight fans. Get ready for three and a half months of nonstop buildup and hype for this one!

 :uhhhfacepalm:

Hopefully, its still painful when i rotate my feet inwards because of the ankle
i want to start as soon as possible, but cant rush while injured.

so hopfully once i gain mobility in my ankles i can start.

Progress Journals & Experimental Routines / Re: THE DREAM JOURNAL
« on: May 26, 2013, 05:20:06 am »
I had a dream that i was in this train with girl who is in my class, we were on the last carriage of the train. she recommended we do something risky, and me who likes to do things risky, don't know why, not crazy, she said shall we try and open the back door get off the train, and since the train was moving at a slow pace, holding onto the train walk with it and then get back on, i definitely liked the idea, so she did it and then i tried and then she did it again and we got in the train safely without the train driving off but then suddenly there was this guy standing at the spot where we was walking with the train, but he was standing still, and the train was still i think couldn't detect it moving, so he tried to get us off the train i kicked him cos i am higher than him, then this is where i just dont remember what happened after but i think we either got off the train and we tried to get back over the roofs of the other train, or maybe we were still inside and we see this guys face appear on the brick wall outside. we were in those empty carriage trains, so we must have come off, you normally see runaways/prisoners hide in, and the train passing a wall must have stopped in front of the wall to show the guys face appear, water splashed onto the wall and then you see his face. Then we were turned into animated game characters like tin tin and we were in a game and we had to try and get back on the train and i remember a little scene from the game, when we started we were trying to find a knife or a key and there was the item under the rat as he was moving around, so we got hold of the item and thats it end of dream.

 :uhcomeon:

really strange

Boxing / Re: matthysse/lamont peterson tonight..
« on: May 19, 2013, 08:04:00 pm »
wow we couldn't have been more wrong... mattyshe destroyed peterson..

so impressive.

i thought peterson was going to be able to box and move etc.. it seemed like he tried, but matthyse kept cutting the ring off and connected some good shots.

completely outclassed..

matthysse vs garcia would be sick.

Man i didn't know matthyse was that power full!!!
damn he is strong.  :ibsquatting:

Like they said, crazy to go brawl with him or something like that.

He was so intent on crushing peterson, it was like a runaway freight train just wanting to knock lamont out.

round 2 or 3 was funny matthyse was just so intent on wide powerful punches he missed and he fell down  :P.

But i never matthyse was this strong, even though i was basing his performance according to his record of his recent fights.

schaefer "new manny pacquiao" lol

Garcia vs Matthyse would be good, but if matthyse is not careful he would be careless and swing wide hooks and be open to the deadly left hook from garcia.
but i can see a bit worry from garcia or its probably me.

can't wait for garcia vs matthyse.

EDIT: I didn't explain myself well.

I can go down as far as i want at the initial weight, but i have this fear of maybe not being able to do the same thing when i add more weight to the bar.
if you get what i mean, i think its fear of stalling at a certain weight after some progress.

Try going beyond parallel, the quads actually activate more with better depth.

That's scary territory,  :ninja:, It might make it harder to get back up.
Will try anyways, am currently where my hip crease line goes in line with my knee.

I just hope i don't stall at the bottom.

What risk?

Even when I walk I walk pretty straight legged... I look very weird vs the rest of the people... I've always been hamstring dominant in everything and that translated into weak quads.

I had the problem of being hamstring/hip flexor dominant because i had this thinking that because over developed quads was bad all i concentrated was on the hamstring and now i realize my mistake and am starting to incorporate quad work such as squats to parallel.
