victor ortiz vs louis collazo

I thought it would be an easy preparation fight for ortiz, he was doing well in the first round good amount of aggressiveness but at the second round collazo started to pick up pace but otiz still dominating until towards the end a knockout by collazo and ortiz didn't even try to get up for some reason.

He feels like he doesn't have it. I don't know what went wrong, carelssness.

Also some good news with pacquiao

Pacquiao will be willing to face timothy bradley and the good thing is marquez has said that he is willing to face the winner, which could mean pacquiao has to win continuously to get better fights after, getting better everytime.

Pacquiao vs Bradley - Pacquiao win

Pacquiao vs Marquez 5 - Pacquiao win

He will be back where he was but without the same fire instinct or maybe not...

then hopefully mayweather has no excuse and maybe hopefully he will fight pacquiao on 2015, i know i have heard it too many times, he will fight him 2012, 2013, 2014.... (yawn) 2015

we can only hope. this may even revive the hype for the fight a bit more.

what a terrible workout, I was fine at start, ankle rolls, went outside on to the grass, it was cold outside, did warm ups, i was warmed up a little but still was cold, heart pumping, my sinus activated by allergy and nose blocked ears blocked so i can hear breathing through my ears, did the runs but only managed 3 sets and after was feeling sick especially in the stomach and was feeling dizzy and stopped and walked back home, a bit wobbly on my way back, got home drank water and milk but couldn't finish it was feeling sick to continue. I don't know why i was feeling dizzy and sick, feel sick a bit now. just need to rest.

Couldn't do plyos or gym, which is a 20 min bus journey from home. don't know if i will be able to do 200m tomorrow.

Rate: 2/10

The ankle is feeling better no pain, only when in deep atg squat position and when i push the knees over the feet the more pain starts, which should be fine as it is.

So hopefully, inshallah, I can start workout coming week.

I would suggest you start learning C, C++, C#

You can learn a lot from them and can grasp others which follow the same style.

explosive calf raises slow lowering explosive upward each leg x 20
singe leg calf raise jumps x 5 each leg
large step upward stride calf raises

Man that was a gruesome fight how it ended, it took silva's main weapon he uses away from him. Man that kick, which he did with his lower shin, which is a big no no and should have kicked with the upper shin.

Man that damage was real bad.

Nasty!

Exactly what I was referring to

But may weather his team and Manny pacquiaos team have got hold of this and have denied it.  :raging:

I hope rumours are true but what I doubt is pacquiao hasn't visited may weather so how did they agree.

Confused

Have not had a chance to ice yet but have been doing regular strengthening work.

Walk upstairs with calf raise.

Today did 50x single leg calf raises each leg explosive movement.

Very sore after

I just read in one news website that they have heard from one source who revealed mayweather's fight with canelo and robert guerrero before it was announced that mayweather and pacquiao have agreed to fight on september 2014 and pacquiao has decided just for this fight to become a free agent to get fight made. Don't know the credibility but i hope it is true and I hope they both train like they have never before and are at their prime in their fight pacquiao doesn't have to be worried of being knocked out by mayweather so can take more risks and be the same fighter he was with the same hunter instincts but smart at the same time and this would be an awesome fight.

Cotto decided to face Martinez. Both want it. Shouldn't be a problem to make it happen. Should be good to test Martinez, if he wins he still has got it.

Update:
Ankle doesn't hurt when walking but when rotating slight pain can be felt above ankle.

Will start icing and strengthening.
Yesterday:- Single Leg Calf raises x 30

Rios tested positive for a banned substance for pacquiao fight. Maybe the power came from and wasn't rocked much

Boxing / Re: cruz, thurman, karass, maidana, broner - great night of fights

keith thurman was powerful to back off soto karas and go for the win but maidana vs broner an excellent fight, I was so happy with the way it went.

Maidana is a beast
An excellent fight, first round, maidana goes in hard batters badly than he has ever been battered before and second round, a wicked knockout punch which drops maidana for the first time, knocks his cocky ass to the ground.

i liked maidana's style he goes at angles to do power shots, also i see the overhand right do alot of damage as well as some nice left shots, broner, not very active, fast hands flashy hands and did land some good shots, at some times i see maidana get tired but after while he gets in the power shots,

my favourite shot, is the power to head then the body so powerfull and then a final powershot to the jaw to knock him out on the eighth round.

funny how broner tries to act brash and hump him and then later on he gets humped back, man maidana is class, gives him back what he deserves.

the headbutt was a joke, like footballers who over act, lol, he crawls on the floor and he took points away from maidana straight away but for broner always pushing never deducted points from him, shame he lost anyway.

last round, he hits maidana in the jaw, didn't shake him but took something out of him that on the last round broner was going in for the kill i had to hold my breath when i see broner get upper hand but later on when maidana goes for the flurry and strike him on his jaw i was comfortable, he had no chance of getting maidana down any time soon.

lol, after he was declared winner, maidana deserves it, title as well, broner goes to the back and people throwing trash lmao.

he got what he deserved reality call, like mayweather said, he needs to learn to turn it off the cocky behaviour.

I am happy with the decision, maidana was definitely made to give broner hell.

a hell of a night of fighting, would love to see maidana vs danny garcia
