btw let's give it up to Jimmy Buckets for that amazing layup to tie it up at the end, before THE SHOT.

he did that after tweaking his ankle earlier, looked to be in serious pain.

my dad was going for PHI. apparently he's a PHI fan but, he also didn't want to see a Canadian team beat a US team.

was great to watch his heart break.

jajajajajajaajajajajajaja.

Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman Official for July 20th.

It's a must win fight for both if they want to progress but more so for keith thurman, who is supposedly one of the top welterweight, else his name may go down.

I see pacquiao outboxing thurman

damn nice! but i think Thurman will TKO Pac.

(unless his shoulder injures during the fight or something. A healthy Thurman should be able to stop an "old" pac at this point)

ya interested to see how it goes after some rest. also just how you feel in general -> if you feel some speed/fitness come back just from the fatigue wearing off.

speed lyfe.

crazy how i could hit this 2:58 km tonight - while being injured/coming off injury.. i remember in 2017 when I couldn't do it for the life of me. lol.

05/11/2019:
<= 4:59 mile (0) vs <= 2:59 km (1) vs <= 30s 200m (0) = 0 + 1 + 0 = 1

07:20 PM: hard speed: {0.70 mi @ 3:20 (4:48 min/mi), 1km split = 2:58 (4:47 min/min)} ::: (grass, spikes) /// felt great. first sub3-1km of 2019... 8|

- 0.70 mi @ 3:20 (4:48 min/mi)
- 1km split = 2:58 (4:47 min/min)

i did that at < 200 SPM......... that's kind of nuts. didn't expect that. all the crazy slow running is paying off.

used the "throw the lob and go get it" technique. usually works well.

right glute/hip/hamstring bothered me slightly warming up .. but, needed to actually loosen up a bit, then it was fine. didn't feel it at all during the hard effort - which is good. also, not feeling it too much (but slightly) afterwards. ALSO, trying not to mess with it. instead, just icing the area - no stretching.

would like to hit some speed on monday & wednesday too.. sooo.. need to stay fresh.

feel pretty good, but cant wait until i'm 100%. slowly and hopefully surely.

peace!

Faaack, I'm so bad at updating stuff with work. BUT I've been good about focusing on actually getting in better health and letting go of small things (like journal updates...)

Minor update:
Bought a pull-up bar a couple months ago. Figured that if I'm not doing a full routine or going to the gym I could use it on occasion. Have added it to small workouts, but since I'm living alone I've gotten in the habit of doing some pullups/pushups/squats any time I walk through the doorway between the living room and the main hallway. It's good stuff :)

Feel like an actual 6 pack is starting to slowly come back and I'm back up to about 8-10 pullups at a time while simultaneously doing leg raises, though it depends if I'm using neutral grip or wide grip.

niiice! that's a solid way to do it. that simple style of training can lead to some great gains, if done consistently.

keep it up! :strong:
