can you seriously do unassisted natural GHR? i find that kind of hard to believe...

Of course, before this workout when I used to squat tyres. I would do unassisted natural ghr while holding a slight heavy stone for 7 reps, Without stone I could do 10 easy, I used to do these for 10 reps in all my training, if by unassisted you mean without using your hands to get back up. This is what I concentrated on to focus on my hamstring. Now I can do about 5 or more maybe haven't done them in a while will see and maybe get a video.

Would have been a disaster if Greece got through

Did you even see the game?

http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/round=255951/match=300186459/statistics.html#nosticky

Dangerous attacks : 60 vs 28
Goal attempts total : 24 vs 6
Goal attempts on target : 13 vs 2
Passes completed : 502 vs 334

I saw the entire game, including penalty, I just didn't want Greece going through who scored towards the end
But glad they didn't costa deserve it who played brilliantly against Italy and Uruguay.

I have one project that I never really mentioned, it's been on my mind alot over the last few years. I want to open a "half boxing gym, half hacker dojo". The fusion of athletics and nerdom is something I'm very interested in. The same dedication/passion we bring to athletics/training carries over directly to our intellectual goals (which is where we will most likely see our career/financial success).

pC dude

Can't believe I missed this, I love the idea of the project, training is a hobby and the nerd training hacker for career cos you shouldnt soley rely on athletics as to bring food to the table just my opinion. There is def more career and financial success in IT or engineering , hacking computer skills in this case than sports, unless you are exceptioon ally good like Floyd pacquiao etc

I would come to that cyber gym lol

Definitely love the idea

It was a rainy day, raining heavy, I finished my warm up and attempted my first run, which was slippery at start but also during upright after 30m I was still slipping, don't know why. So had to stop as field was interrupted by bikers, so it was a sign to stop, as steeper hill would be even more slippery.

Rating: 5/10

No Workout done today,  :uhcomeon: , but I will take it as a preparation for tomorrow which is ramadan.

---------------------------------

Today is the first day of ramadan and have the following planned for my workout during ramadan. The time difference between dinner and startfast (instead of breakfast) is 4 hour difference. lunch at 10pm and startfast at 2:30am till 9:30pm, this is the peak season of the fasting month.

Reduce my reps from 5 to 3 x 116m @ 100% and if I can run 1 rep 200m If i am able to else i will stick to 3 times running.

also was thinking of adding on alternate days in the morning bw workout, pistol squats, natural ghr unassissted, explosive push ups claps (had to think of 3 exercise bw that would cover entire body)

Will start the bw workout on monday.

Had a dream regarding this site that it had voting system, there was a text box on the left side where the avatar is where you add number and I arrow to increase post vote you add a +1 or -1 in box I think. And a label displaying how much votes received.

Just want to know during your dunk training stage around 2009-2011 the peak, did you study a course or degree in strength and conditioning to learn what you knew such as maximum beast method of 20 reps or was it through Google research cos you knew a lot back then and still have that knowledge.

:o woh he's done it all beng in exercise science and 2 years as strength and conditioning coach,

nah.. 2 years isn't much when it comes to s&c.

wow, he should do coaching again the pay must be good,

nah.. The pay in the tech world (programming/engineering) greatly exceeds anything I would make in s&c. It's extremely hard to try and find a link between "s&c coach" and "millionaire". We could easily make a link between "programmers/software engineers" and "billionaire" though. Plus, I find tech more interesting. It was my "first passion" (other than basketball growing up). Started coding C in h.s. (9th grade) and became obsessed with UNIX. I turned to s&c around 2005 when I "misinterpreted the future" and decided to switch all of my goals. I love s&c don't get me wrong, .... but I'm a unix nerd at heart, so programming/software/networks stimulate my brain the most.

a good resume can approach sports companies and make big bucks. But it seems he has achieved everything.

I havn't achieved "much"... :F Transforming my athletics was definitely a legit achievement. This forum/motivating others is another.  However, I have ALOT more to do.. This last year has been settling in to the tech world, making my impact at the company I've worked for. There's so much more to do.

I have one project that I never really mentioned, it's been on my mind alot over the last few years. I want to open a "half boxing gym, half hacker dojo". That's true more money in tech, bill gates
Need I say more  8)
