You're crazy... there's no need to replicate and overload jumping mechanics in the gym. The gym is for building muscle. You can overload the jumping by doing depth jumps (if anything, do side depth jumps like I'm doing, where you drop off to the side and there's a 1-2 (LR or RL) plant sequence. Or you could use a powerjumper. Or you could use a weight vest. Or you could use more speed in an actual jump etc.
You're dangerously playing with recruitment as well (maybe training for a bad recruitment pattern) if you try to replicate the jumping moevment (or any dynamic movement) in the gym too much.
