CF talks about the importance of the half-squat and not so much full squats. I get the impression that he doesn't really give a shit about ATG squats so I kind of doubt that the 600x6 was ATG.

Not that it matters, dude was still fast as hell.

ya, and most sprinters aren't going to have the best natural "ability" at ATG anyway, due to the leg length.

though, when most people think squat they automatically think "ATG", so, it's nice to clarify.

was it 600x6 box squat?

i'm not sure, judging from this video and the response of CF on his forum, I think it was box... He basically said something like, "ya but this wasn't ben in his prime, he squatted 600 x 6 in his prime", without clarifying it was normal atg etc, so i assume he box squatted it.

my 9 round shadow boxing vid:
- need to fix up some technique flaws
- need to improve work rate: 33-40 punches per minute, without losing speed
- i wasn't shoulder rolling on purpose in this video, but need to incorporate that next video: bigger slips/head movement
- need to use a stop watch for my 1 minute breaks, since none of them are 1 minute, all are < 1 minute
- need to warmup way better before first round, because the first round im just not loose enough, you can see it bigtime, as the vid goes on im so much looser/relaxed
- my best round came in round 8, so that just means i'm holding back
- need HEADPHONES, the damn ear piece flies out too much, especially when my ear gets slippery

wow, that's nuts.. ya i didn't feel like counting but i didn't even come up with a number near 500.. but that's what squatting 500+ times will do for you :)

I feel pretty good right now though actually..

The goal will be to hit 100 straight with 95, before I try and move the weight up.. I of course might move the weight up temporarily but that would be to improve the 95's.

why stop stretching?

i always injure myself stretching.. if you recall, my hamstring-tendon ripped when i was stretching, one of many stretching related injuries.. this one was also from stretching, but i think it'll be fine in 2-3 more days.
