Interesting thread. Personally i've been neglecting overhead work for a while but this thread has convinced me to start adding it in as some extra assistance. I still prefer the bench press though since you can throw up more weight on it :P

Nice squatting and MEBM set.
Are you going to run track this summer?

With the dips you've got the strength you just need the endurance, which is only a matter of practicing doing bodyweight dips more often.

MEBM is good. It sucks at the time but you feel like you accomplished something at the end when your legs are tingling and you're sucking up air haha.

Don't listen to Raptor!
But for real I got these toe weights they'll have you jumping 6 inches higher in 6 weeks! Just wear them everyday. Their fkn sik as. And since your a member of adarq.org i'll give you these limited edition toe weights for the special price of $500!
This method works trust me coz I'm a vertical jumps expert!!!

But for real dude reading your journal is soo frustrating! I try not to comment but you always do the most retarded shit. I jump the same vertical as you but at least I can dunk. In 6 months I made as much progess as you have in 6 years just coz I follow the basic shit. You're always looking for a fkn magic forumla instead of just going out and playing basketball and squatting heavy and practicing your fkn jumps. Seriously dude you actually had a great squat and shit before but for whatever reason you're 2 fkn stubborn to go into the gym and you think you're suddenly going to get reactive. You're fkn 30 years old man get you're shit together.

I was going for Tyson Gay. It's bad luck he only got 4th but he had an injury interrupted season and wasn't at his peak so it was always going to be difficult for him to win. I think USA are going to win the 4x100 if Asafa doesn't run though. At the US trials they had like 4 or 5 guys in the trial run sub 10. I think their team gonna be Gay, Gatlin, Bailey and Doc Paton.
I'm also looking heaps forward to the 200 and 400. In the 400 Steve Solomon qualifed for the final, which is the first time an Aussie male has run in a 400 olympic final in like 24 years.

i'd hate on him for finishing last, but no americans qualified for the final so i can't. USA #9!

Yeh I thought LeShawn Merritt was gonna be the man to beat but than he ended up getting injured so USA chance of medalling in 400m was pretty much gone after that.
Solomon came last but it's better coming last in a final than not running in a final at all:P

Check this graph out it's pretty cool.

Hey adarqui I remember you used to have turf toe as well. How did you get rid of it and what's the fastest way to get it healed?

Completely agree with your rant. It's bullshit how stadiums try and make you pay for using their facilities. Most basketball stadiums around where I live you can get in for free though and find a spare court (I live 2 mins drive from Sturt stadium it's my local high school). But yeh I know of several other stadiums where you need to pay to play so I always just play outdoors.
With tracks in Adelaide they are extremely hard to find. The only times I've ever run on a proper track was at Santos back in high school every year for state days in little athletics and high school athletic days/state school athletic days. I did little athletics with this club called Flinders and every week we'd just train on an oval coz we didn't even have a track.

Nice video. He's an inspirational dude. It'd be really interesting to see how he trains and what methods he uses to increase his speed.
