That looks like a nice training area. Is it free to use or do you pay to go there?

ya it's free.. only the gym's are pay.. going to a nice park tomorrow, it's my fav one, best scenery.

That the place where the cops stop you?

hah nope.. they only stop me at night on the street :)

SWDC = horrible, alot of .15-.18's haha.. felt tired today too.. legs felt real good.

basketball workout: jumpers/dunks:
- surprisingly getting up nice on my drop step jumps.. had a nice 2 hand rim hang from a very small step for my first jump
- lots of BAD lobs, totally killed me.. with slight wind i get all messed up..
- max RVJ around 32 or so, which is ok considering how tired/sluggish i felt mentally
- threw a few down nice but they rimmed out, mostly way off though with bad lobs

ok so im not that upset.. im definitely energy depleted, so after the workout ive been eating a ton + gatorade.. i plan on doing some dunks with Adam from TVS (theverticalsummit) tomorrow.. he wants to land one for an icon etc, so it should be fun.. i actually think i will jump good.. it seems that when my CNS is held back and i jump, it doesn't effect me too much negatively for the next day, in fact i jump much better..

key will be to really get in alot more calories tonight because i definitely feel glycogen depleted.

peace

this is from the end of the workout, hit my head barely on the bottom of the net 4 times:

Hot as shit again today. Plus a long day at work. Still, energy was great and it took them cutting the lights at the field where I do tempo runs for me to stop. Coincidentally, the timing was awesome and they cut the lights just at the end of what I'd planned to do (like 20 seconds after I finished).

warm up
jog x.5mi
butt kickers, high knees, shuffles, carioca

work
2x5x100m @16-18s pace -- felt awesome, nice and easy

cool down

jog x.5mi
strech

what time does the park close? most parks around here close at 10pm.

5/31/2010 workout B

4-5:30 am, intermittent LIGHT force absorption workout..
- felt amazing, ive done these before like i said, with my stiff leg ankle hops way back, i forgot how good it feels to do this stuff very light
- all landings were very soft on each exercise, holding back intensity to really feel a nice soft transition/landing
- standing tall to ada squat on ball of foot
- stiff leg ankle hops (skip style) -> felt so LIGHT, tmw might be very nice jumping
- lateral ice skaters

peace :F

i've had that happen, it sucks.. haha.. but i pr'd on full run up shortly thereafter.. i have a vid where i got 130" off two step lead in, then only 131" off full runup (4 step).. i was like wtF???????????? but i pr'd shortly after so it was all good.. well slightly different, my full runup wasn't lower than 2-step ! hehe

regardless, these numbers are good..

dad needed car today so had to do a quick workout early, didn't do anything rest of day, was busy with something.

BW 157 in morning

bball workout:
- wore some other shoes, they were so painful on my ankle, something is wrong with their design
- did 5x8 jumps from a small hop step
- bunch of jumpers
- all in ~60 mins

ankle hops:
- throughout the night, felt like doing something.. i want to start doing these alot during maybe every other day or so, because when i did them way back i got a nice effect from them, only problem is they gave me shin splints, but i think i can avoid that if im not squatting + lighter + dont do it EVERY day.

i think im getting too obsessed with dunking again instead of just training really hard with sprints etc.. kind of bugging me.

today was a lame day for sure, i should have worked out at night.. dumb.

peace

I'm gonna give up on getting the video up, ugh. The video is no 647mb, and youtube still wont up it. Makes no sense..

damn.. :/

if you add to render queue, and export it as flash (FLV), it'd be VERY small.. but ya i feel you, sounds like a pain in the ass..

next time try uploading with the gears youtube uploader:

http://upload.youtube.com/my_videos_upload?restrict=gears

you'll have to download gears/restart firefox, but that should work good.. every time youtube has failed for me i use that and it worked.. so now i use it all the time.
