Maybe I don't know boxing, but how the heck was this a "convincing win by unanimous decision". If it were after me, Manny should've won. More aggressive, more punches hit their target, had the control of the fight etc.

convincing is an understatement, he cleaned the floor with manny lol
seriously speaking manny was a disappointment don't know how much to believe about the shoulder but he won convincingly no matter what tactics he used

but it seems all of mayweather's opponents have this paralysis when facing mayweather they stand infront for too long not doing anything because he is soo tricky to time and get in so he had to just jump in and hope for the best lol

So dissapointed with this match, why is it that whenever someone is infront of floyd they inactive, like manny,  :raging:  :ffffffuuuuuu: i didn't see anything good from pacquiao who had the nerve to think he actually won, so dissapointed with manny.

I was expecting a fast start but didn't see it but floyd used every arsenal he had, the counter which he used soo effectively, especially when manny he likes to wait or rest or try to time floyd just punches him out of it, it was a bad version of maidana vs floyd.

but mayweather also ran alot and holded a lot to keep safe from the power attack and also so the clottey clamshell defence.

floyd does it again. excited at the beginning dissapointed in round 3.

what happened to the cursing and pointing from pacquaio's mother that would have probably helped win one more round lol
but no knockouts even made this even further more dissapointing.

roach was correct in floyd sr being rubbish in the corner, he was giving bad advice, i think he wanted to show off and give unuseful advice, but as roach said as well floyd could do it on his own.

now they both made the same comment thinking they won but I don't know about the injured shoulder what bad timing
who else will they fight.

I liked the lomachenko fight, he is my king of fighter I like the way he bounces and gets in to the side and other side lands combos and moves out and in, just so brilliant.
the santa cruz fight was one sided lol but the other guy looked dazed as soon as he stepped in like he was high or something.

i need to see floyd get knocked down before he retires.  :ninja:

one thing not shown, pac's face.. it's been torn up pretty bad, especially in the marquez fights.

still, nice comparison, if accurate. I kind of feel it isn't 100% though :D

power definitely in pac's favor.. but will he be able to connect? and will he not get countered with some serious shots?

pbf all day.

I think pacquiao will be cautious enough to avoid being countered and can identify the oportunity to go aggressive and knock floyd out.
pacman all day

another comparison between oscar and pacquiao is they both go to chat shows like jimmy kimmel and late knight with jay leno or something like this. it was their good luck charms.

ankle sprains suck. hope you get better quickly.

thanks :highfive:,

icing, resting elevating and the other procedures, recovery is going well, I'll see how it feels tomorrow else thursday.

I don't remember twisting my ankle, but I definitely sprained it as there is pain when trying to rotate and it has swollen.
 :raging:  :ffffffuuuuuu:

I was playing football yesterday, just training and I collided my lower shin with my brother's and I think that caused my ankle sprain so my shin a little sore and my ankle just painful i couldn't do my session today.

i hope spraining ankle is less worse than twisting my ankle and hopefully it should recover quickly, i am wearing a compression support on my ankle, will ice it and insha allah it should be better by monday.

As I still don't know much about creatine and the loading, maintenance and saturation stages.

I have decided like in the past to take 5g creatine after every workout mixed with my protein shake.

is this a good idea or should i do something else?

2048
Workouts for last two sessions.

same workout except increased my dumbell weights to 25kg per hand, which is hard to maintain grip especially the way my little finger is, I have to drop and lift it again and continue.

I was able to do 3x6 @25kg dumbells BSS  :personal-record:
same with RDL single legs.

my sprints times are getting better.
Week 3, workout day 3 - saturday
34m
1. 4.85    L
2. 4.97    R
3. 4.87    L
4. 4.9      R
5. 4.97    L
6. 5.19    R

Week 4, day 1

2. 4.78                              R
3. 4.75                              L

6. 5.06                              R

the 25kg dumbell was a struggle but managed to pull of the required reps, so will move to 27.5kg and work my way from there

Last time i checked my weights was 63kg.

Crawford looked AMAZING. Very impressed with how meticulous he was with Delorme. He was setting up that 1-2 for a while then bang, game over. so sick.

Mattyse/Provotnikov was a war. Too bad Prov got cut early on (~3rd round). Might have been a slightly different fight, dno. Mattyse's boxing skills were obviously the difference maker. Though, prov kept coming and hurt him a few times toward the end. I'd love to see Mattyse get his rematch vs Garcia.

Chavez jr.. lmao. What a joke. Man he doesn't even look like a boxer in there. His lack of professionalism finally caught up with him. So much whining too, during the fight. Fonfara obliterated him.

Klitchko/Jennings next weekend..

MAY/PAC GETTING CLOSE!@$!@$!@

agree

crawford looked good against dulorme.

the matthysse fight was amazing, it wasn't an all out war as mathysse's corner said don't trade with him as he gets caught and misses his shots, but his excellent jabbing and combination and power punches to the face was very good.

lol at the chavez match, agree with you, he just didn't fit in that weight, he looked big but not skilled or powerful enough, lol at the complaints even though he would commit them, first time knocked down, with a powerful hit to the top of the head. but it was expected to happen as he was able to knock down stevenson.

would love to see matthysse vs garcia, but don't think that will happen, too many people calling him out.

yep, may pac is getting close.

I was watching the 24/7 and the fight for mayweather vs dela hoya and it is scarily similar to mayweather vs pacquioa, trained by freddie roach, de la hoya fighting for mexicans, pacquiao fighting for phillipines, mayweather training very hard with power punch training like he is doing now, it was also the match the world has been waiting for ??? a strange one, but this fight also a fight the world has been waiting for, but the difference is pacquiao has the jab which de la hoya never used, i first thought dela hoya won but after watching again, it was a draw if dela hoya won round 12, else it was a 7 rounds to 5 for mayweather. dela hoya just was not doing much jabs he waited too long, also the controversial scoring, lol, i didn't have to see jerry roth's card, he was the one that gave the first fight with mayweather against castillo to mayweather. hope this fight is not given to mayweather on controversial scoring. that would ruin it.

Track & Field / Re: Rio 2016 T&F standards
« on: April 18, 2015, 01:37:27 pm »
that is crazy, I read about this, they got rid of the A and B standard, they trying to set a high standard to filter great athletes from the awesome athletes.
to set up a great olympic event.

or you are the most committed, beautifully subtle troll i have ever seen.

Hah, i've thought of that too.
If he was a troll , he would have been the most perfect one, preserving his hidden identity even after he has succeed, only so he may repeat it again and again.

seifullaah73, both me and acole were being sarcastic.
You are exhausting, not only all your planning is totally wrong, but you also won't hear whatever people advice you.
Either you get too defensive or, at best, you apply a couple of the advice elements for a couple of weeks and then roll back to your thing.
That is why after some years of training you are not progressing at all.
Again, if you can, please don't see those lines above as a personal attack but as an intense attempt to get you on the right track.

If i were you, this is the program I would be doing:

Day 1 : Squat : 4x8 , 3 mins between sets
Day 2 : 7 days vertical jump cure routine ( it is abs and glutes and stretch )
Day 3 : Sprints : 2x5x100m , 3-5 mins between sprints, 10 mins between sets.
Day 4 : rest or day 2.
repeat.

ONLY THIS. No accessory, no plyo, no power, no p-chain, no short sprints, no long sprints, nothing, only squat and run 100m.

Not even kidding. Power training at <BW squat strength and acceleration/top speed drills at >14s 100m is a joke. Zero in, build a base, get to 100kg squat and 13s 100m, then we can talk about specificity.

That is my final attempt here, good luck!

Thanks for the advice, It's not that I am not listening but I am currently following what my coach has told for a few months to work on my single leg strength and acceleration and after I will go into squatting. That is what i was thinking of try and squat 100kg.

I am hoping progressing in my bulgarian split squat will help with my back squats, which will probably something similar to what you suggested.
I don't take what you said as an attack, I want to give what I am trying a chance.

But after I can do something similar to what you suggested.

what is the 7 day vertical cure thing you mention in your plan

I heard about the CNS fatigue of running 60m 100%. So thanks for the heads up and advice about the cns fatigue have to be careful of that.

your powers of sarcasm detection are truly unparalleled.

or you are the most committed, beautifully subtle troll i have ever seen.

I could tell he was being sarcastic as none of what he wrote was helpful, so i took one of what he said and pretended it was a real helpful advice and replied thanking for the advice.

or maybe I was ...

Comment
It was a nice run a small assisting wind, which changes from no wind to slight wind, it felt nice and controlled, one of the coaches over there gave an article, the guy was stanley madiri, he was training another athlete, didn't comment on my training, he is a well known and revered coach in england. then after the ankle hops and the regular shin pains the foam rolling was not as painful as last time. the bulgarian split squats is getting better, but with the RDL's it is hard to hold on for a while so at the last leg of the last few reps i have only a few reps, my forearms are really sore and tired especially the front part where the veins are. so i was thinking two sets with bare hands and the other sets with gloves. but overall a good session.

Comment:
It was my first ever tough training in terms of weight training, but during the runs, warm up it went fight, but when I did the runs, they felt fast but the third run is always an anomaly, also my quads be very sore after each run, even with 5 min rest between. the quads were painful like a ligament pain rather than a muscular fatigue pain. so i had to stretch quads a lot before running because the quads were painfull. but the timing felt consisten. I was also told to run using the wind as assistance rather than running into a head wind, which I might try for first half of runs and then the other way for second half. the shins became painful after the ankle hops. then during the gym work I remember chrism's advice and tried looking for 20kg dumbell but there was only one, so I went to 22.5kg and it was hard not slow but a struggle for each rep, I was able to do this for the other sets. then when i did the RDL's had pains in my quads doing them, but figured out that i had to get it close to my legs, also grip was wearing out but was able to hold on for the left and right leg, only 4 fingers left on the dumbell when finishing my right leg. when I did the foam rolling, it was extremely painful, especially the outer quads and the shin, but mostly the quads, just soo painful. but it was a tough workout.
