the craziest thing is that they are grabbing rocks with a jump, putting full faith that it will hold their weight and they will catch and hold it...all without a safety rope, seriously you gotta be nuts
Ironically the guy in the video LBSS posted, Dan Osman, died when climbing WITH a rope.

how important is the upper body in a slrvj? i couldnt find anything about it in the toolbox and kelly b wrote in his sl jumpers article that mass gain in other areas besides ham,quad,glute,calf is not beneficial to slrvj. should upper be trained if only goal is to improve slrvj?
ok me and some friends are driving somewhere to this rural area. we are renting a condo in the middle of nowhere. looking back on it, i realize that 1 of the passengers sounds like andrew darqui. anyway, im driving and im eating a snickers bar. (i cant even remember the last time i had a candy bar) so anyway, while driving, i turn around and say, "its good for vert." then all of a sudden, i turn into one of those people who have a face that resembles a rabbit. i lose control of the car and crash into a pole. as a result of the crash, all of the passengers become mexican somehow. so now we have 4 mexicans and a rabbit. when we get to the condo, we insist on building a volleyball net because in my dream, mexicans love volleyball similar to the black people eating watermelon stereotype. then i remember hopping around the backyard, altho i was traveling like a kangaroo.

Just another question Andrew, through strength/explosive training Ive come to a point where i can put X amount of force into the ground. Now whenever i sprint, jump whatever i get MUSCULAR pains throughout my lower leg. Mostly laterally. I think it's dew to weak ankle stabilizers or something. What would your take on the matter be along with corrective exercise? thanks in advance. Sorry for turning your journal into a Q and A again.
