who was fighting? And yea, you missed a hell of a fight, Nelson couldnt take him down due to Dos Santos wrestling so had to stand with him and got hit cleanly 99,999,999 times with right uppercuts and right straights and kept pushing forward.  dos santos finally took him down for the points and started going to the body with his punches. Rogan had the quote of the night on one of the body shots that landed clean as fuck....

damn.. how badly was JDS beat up? was it mostly one sided even though roy kept coming after being popped?

i was watching boxing.. johnson/cloud then devon alexander/kotelnik... honestly, i thought kotelnik won the fight, huge robbery imo.. devon is the champ and kotelnik straight beat him down beautifully, was a pure clinic.

He said "thats like hitting a guy with 15 sweaters on in the stomach". lol

jahahahahaha!

bw = 160
soreness = hamstrings
aches/injuries = feet, top of left foot / right big toe area

workout:
- 200's x 2, felt great, going to a basketball court
- jumps : about 10 LR and 10 RL before lights turned off.. some nice jumps
- 200's x 4, felt great still
- .75 mile run: 4:50... trying to pace it a bit and find out what i could run for say 3 miles.. .75 mile stops at a traffic light, tons of traffic so i couldn't keep running even if i wanted to.

might run a 5k in september.. checking prices, it's like $25-$35 to run.. hey guess what, fuck that.. i'll just show up and run a few myself without paying, though i won't have official results, it'll still be a nice run.. shit is at 7am though guhhhhhh!

peace

haha, I called everything exactly until the last couple of minutes and he started relaxing and sitting back in the guard.  Hearbroke isnt even enough to describe the feeling that dude must have right now, he won every single round convincingly including the final one, up until the last damn 3 or so min.  Crazy, oh I believe I said Fitch would win but make it a boring as fuck controlling fight haha :)  btw, did you see how much punishment Roy Nelson took and stayed in there? Thats from Dos Santos who koed damn near everyone in the first rd. lol.

nah i missed that fight, i was watching boxing.. i heard it was GREAT.. ill have to find a download for it.

both guys are still legit.. someone needs to wreck brock i can't take it anymore.

i had a really odd dream last night.. i was driving some girl home and i went into this place, where i had to handle snakes.. i had to hold venomous snakes by the side of their face, squeezing hard, so they couldn't bite, then pass them off to someone else.. it went on like this for a while.. everything was rattle-snake looking.. someone got bit.. girl disappeared halfway throguh the dream.

psychotic, but somehow relevant.. i could have been in one of those and just not known it.. interesting

Fuck, Sonnen looks sooooo much smaller than Silva at the weigh in even though Silva was 184 and he was 185.  Thiago Alves missed weight by 1/2 a pound like an idiot.  Anyway, Im logged in and ready to edit.

let's see that edit :D

amazing fight man.. holy shit.. i tell you what, i was impressed with anderson.. he weathered that beat down and came out fresh every round, how, i have no idea.. he was dangerous as hell for those 15-30 seconds he was on his feet.. then on the ground he had good elbows and good sub-attacks until he finally got one.

insane fight..

no recovering from a loss like that.. sonnen is a beaten dog, he's done in his hunt to dethrown anderson.. i figure he'd get killed in the 2nd fight, anderson must have a fuckload of confidence now after a fight like that..

INSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE.

Went to practice today. Threw around some, ran a couple drills. Didn't cleat up. At the end did a little light sprinting + pushups and situps workout with a few of my teammates. Ankle felt okay.

nice!

Phase II Day 17 (Thursday):

A LOT of walking done for work. I had the pleasure putting no hunting and U.S. boundary signs along the Golden Spike fences. (/sarcasm)

Phase II Day 18 (Friday):

Did my workout in the afternoon today. Thursday I didn't get to eat as much as I would have like so my energy was completely gone in the morning. It's a good thing I decided to wait, the workout was awesome.

Trap-Bar Dead-Lift: 5x5 @ 215 lbs.
Dips: 5x5 @ bw + 55 lbs.
Cable Rows: 2x8 @ 170 lbs.
Revers Hypers: 2x8 @  20 lb dumbbell.

I'm feeling really good going into my last week of the phase. My weight seems to stay really consistent if I measure at the same time of day. It doesn't drop or raise from day to day, but as of day 1 I have gained about 2.5 lbs. (that's also with some fat dropped from the first week, my weight didn't change for about a week and a half.)

I expect gains to be much more noticeable once my seasonal job ends after this week and I have more time to make proper meals and eat when I really need to.

definitely good progress so far man

bw = 162
soreness = alot of hamstring soreness
aches/injuries = right big toe/forefoot pad (same as last few weeks), right shoulder (during squats it bugs out pretty bad now, rotator cuff, external)

workout:
- 400's x 3
- jumps: surprisingly good considering my soreness (~30" off drop step), only off drop step, LR and RL, big toe hurt on a few jumps, left heel on one jump
- 400's x 7

toast after the 4th 400.. just tempo'd them up from then on.

happy with jumps.. i'll probably start trying to jump every day again.. submax or max, just get jumps in.. i dont feel as good as when i was jumping every night a month+ ago.. need to get back to that, but have to be careful with heel/bigtoe.... anyway, i had alot of pop considering how sore i am/how much running ive been doing, the 400's/200's really increasing my power.

tmw is ~60m sprints, 10x.. i'll probably only run a few max then run the rest under max.

peace

the craziest thing is that they are grabbing rocks with a jump, putting full faith that it will hold their weight and they will catch and hold it...all without a safety rope, seriously you gotta be nuts

Ironically the guy in the video LBSS posted, Dan Osman, died when climbing WITH a rope.

damn, that is irony..

osman vid =  :o
