hey man, working hard, but i have some criticism.. i wouldn't squat in the smith, squat in a rack, free, if form is an issue, do it off pins/box.. deadlift looks like you are rounding your back bigtime.. strict form will have better transfer to vert even though weight would need to be lighter.. jump squats should be done initially, when legs are fresh, and lighter, it's taking you very long to perform each rep.. depth drops are a little too high, need to land deeper too and stick that landing.

@adarqui : lunge jumps wen legs are dead is a bad idea, imagine how bad your knee stability is with all that fatigue, not good.. you workout, honestly, should be: lunge jump, jump squat, depth drop, squat.. i would put squat/deadlift on different days.

also, you really need to get your body composition in check, that will yield some great gains in athleticism just by losing body fat alone.. seriously, you'd gain alot athletically if you dropped some fat.

keep working man but work a lil smarter

i dno man, there's lots of good new stuff, and some great movies every year.. but the 80's music era was pretty sick - it has such a distinct sound, i like 60's-70's rock too, shit was hardcore.

just a thought, maybe he had a fluke moment..I had some insane jumps when i am super relaxed, like 5-10inches more than normal jump due to being unnaturally calm for no cause

that is a physical change, not possible to do just like that..in times of extreme pressure or extreme relaxation, people can get super human abilities..that is how i grabbed rim as 13year old who could only normally get half way up, this one jump i got rim, then it took a while before i got it legit everytime...the cns is responsible for strength and power, we develope it to allow more, but it is always capable of that power

ya bmully is definitely right about a substantial performance increase, verkhoshansky referred to it as the 'innate (protected) reserves'.. in which access to that strength/force output is restricted, but through years of proper/aggressive training, athletes can keep improving how much they can tap into it at their own will.. i mean, i remember i was jumping shitty say 5 months ago, then that cop pulls me over, and i jumped like 3" higher after alot of fatigue, that wasn't even life or death, but that small adrenaline response/heightened cns arousal lead to some gains..

level-7 = PR city.


True. But claiming a 10" sudden increase is idiotic. Thats like when Rip claimed that crazy crazy sprint time because he saw a spider or something like that. Actually I dont remember if it was Rip, but someone did claim to run a crazy time, faster than world record speed.

I doubt they are. From what I know about women, which is very little, they all like guys who beat them and love other women, so these women can cry and think about how great it would be if the guys wouldn't do all these things. :(

bw = 154
soreness = left calf (bad)
aches/injuries = just the calf, well a little bit of lower back
fatigue = a little bit (mental)

lots of stretching during the day




workout: jumps + plyo
- came in pretty heavy, dinner + lots of fluid i was prolly like 160 come jump time
- LR DLRVJ: 33" off two step
- RL DLRVJ: 30" off two step
- L-SLRVJ & R-SLRVJ = sucked.. BLEH!
- MR tuck jumps: 40, 40, 45, 40, 40, 50, 40, 10 (max effort), 10 (max effort)
- MR (edit: double leg) bound: 30 bounds, 30 bounds... jumping the distance between steps in the sidewalk, so like 6 feet or so each one.
- drop step RVJ to deep ADA landing: about 20 or so






a shitload of reactive work ^^^^^


i might start doing more reactive work while im going for my big walks................... i'm starting to want to.. heh..

i want to jump tomorrow so, should be interesting if i feel fine, which i predict i will..
