Check out at 00:18. You can just see the force coming back to him from the floor so to speak. It's really amazing.
I enjoy a lot actions movies, but the thay movies are a before and after for me. What I like the most are the fucking insanely, no ropes, fighting scenes and how the director uses the camera. They film the fight catching all the body and without switching angles or cameras during the action.
Here you have a list of the best ones (the director is the same Im pretty sure) with their original titles:
- Ong bak
- Tom yum goong
- Chocolate (not the one with J. Deep)
- Raging phoenix (for this one I only saw the compilation of action scenes on youtube)
- Born to fight (I saw it without subs, I understood nothing but the second half on the movie is non-stop action).
Ong bak 2 and 3 aint that good.
10-17-10 Session 1
Probably still fatigued from all that jumping two days ago but I wanted to get back to work so I can jump even higher!
It's been almost a month since I have rep'd squats so I'll probably be really sore and my vert will probably go down a bit but it's ok because I know it's there.
Dynamic warmup, sprint warmup
3 max ~10 yard sprints, felt really fast but I didn't have a stopwatch.
24" dj's 4x5- don't know exactly how high I was getting as I didn't have the vertec but they felt good (no collapsing or heavy/dead feeling). Did jumps for head height on a low ceiling (measured it to be about 7'10.5") and I was moving ceiling tile at least an inch so I'm gonna say they were around 27.5" which is really good. PR on 24" dj's for sure, I think pr for 18" was 27.5 or 28. Last week 24" dj's were horrible so this is a good improvement.
squat warmup: 135x5 185x3 225x1 255x1
275x5 275x5 275x6 - all 3 sets were really hard but that's definitely a 3x5 pr
lunge: 195x3x5
barbell calf raise: 135x4x5
core circuit x2
