so i'm officially moving to pakistan, probably at the end of may/beginning of june. signed the contract yesterday. today i agreed with my boss that my last day in my current job will be may 4. so i'll have most of may off to relax, visit people, pack up my seven years' worth of stuff, and put in storage everything i don't throw out or ship to islamabad.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Big Bern destroyed Hilldog last night. Once I saw that he wasn't a gun grabber like Hillary I became a little bit more at ease if he were to win.
bernie is a beast
btw there's like 0 gun grabbers. obama was supposed to be the for real this time gun grabber.. look how that turned out. lol
i dont think he destroyed her unfortunately. he needs to get better at answering the gun questions.. that's one area where he's always too passive. he needs to be alot more aggressive in explaining why you shouldnt be able to sue a gun manufacturer who is making a legal product. i don't get liberals who are for that. asking him to apologize for a logical policy stance is typical snaky hillary.. bernie has said that if she wants him to apologize to sandy hook victims, she should apologize to families of fallen soldiers killed in iraq. dno why he didnt hit her with that. maybe too much for the deb8 stage, or it slipped his mind like usual. wish he'd tighten up on that shit.. like when she told him it's not a laughing matter (when he was laughing while she was talking about guns), but she laughs in response to everything he says.. this is all stupid imagery stuff but he's just not great at seizing those moments in debates.
fuck took a while to type (one handed while icing my lame elbow)

Hillary has said before that the first thing she wants to do if she gets elected is to ban pistols and to look into Australias gun laws aka confiscation.
do you haz url to that? not saying I don't believe it, just couldn't find it in my lame google searches. I found some stuff on 'ontheissues.org' (good site) but couldn't find anything specific to that.

I'll check them out when I get to work to keep myself occupied and post it.
Theres a video of her trying to lie her way through some old farts question that they probably planted in the audience. She talks about how Australias is only a buyback program with stricter gun control after that. What she failed to mention was if you didn't turn in your guns that you were looking at 1 year in prison. I'll find the other video i just hate having to listen to her cuz it just makes me furious and I want to punch my computer monitor.
Also, that god damn Obamacare. For my company, before obamacare the lowest rate was like 55 bucks a month, now the lowest rate is 125 or so a month. We need change my ass, take your cash for clunkers and take a hike dumbledore
ya everything is way too expensive, it's such trash. i've only ever had insurance through companies I worked for, and I rarely paid much attention to costs during those time periods. Most of my life (growing up, in college, and when not working), i've never had insurance.. either have my parents.
but for my mom's insurance, for 3+ years I paid 1400 a month, on average.. which is just psychotic.. but prior to ACA (Obamacare), she couldn't even get insurance... so at least they managed to get rid of that pre-existing condition rule.. HOWEVER. It almost seems like they got rid of it just so that they could make more money by charging insane prices.
as for myself.. once I quit my job, I looked for some affordable insurance on healthcare.gov... without work, everything was ~180-200$ per month, just for the cheapest catastrophic insurance plan.. I qualified for one of those vouchers or whatever, to get like ~40% back come tax time. But it really annoyed me so much that I just settled for having no insurance and would rather pay the penalty.
so here I am paying alot (to me it's alot) for my mom's insurance, while unemployed, and not covering myself.
so to me, the biggest thing that matters in this election is health care.. then reducing the role of money in politics/energy/climate change/anti aggression. I've witnessed two people go bankrupt because of health care. Nothing bothers me more than people in this country having to stress about their health. Not just my family, but everyone.
I don't care what gets us there... medicare for all, or extreme competition. I'll take either one. The socialist way (medicare for all) by raising taxes, fine by me.. as long as everyone in this country is covered. If republicans win, then they need to figure out how to make a damn "dollar menu" for health care, ie, make it so damn competitive and get rid of waste, that health care basically becomes fast food but without neglecting quality. There's just too many criminals in politics for that to happen though.
the stuff that's going on in this country with health care, war, education, infrastructure, etc.. is a damn crime.QuoteAlso Bernie or some one needs to address this shit.
To me, I feel he cares the most about all of these issues. That's why me (and so many others) have really embraced him. If he wasn't in the race, I wouldn't be enthusiastic about any candidate.QuoteCan anyone tell me what kind of job this description would be for?
