To me, in that picture you look like 3-4 inches away... it's too far away from the camera though and the angle distorts it, so I don't know. Definitely not 1 inch away...
i'm directly under the backboard, behind the net.. see the white line on the ground, i'm directly over that also.. check the proportions. heh
also, explain to me how you get 3-4"? i mean, we clearly see like 1" away on pic, but how do you get 3-4"? you just making up a number or what? lool
tonight i went to touch my ceiling, my reach is down at least 1.5 inches, maybe even 2", wtf.. my lats/pecs/rear delt are so tight.. need to stretch that thoroughly over the next few days so when i do jumps monday ill get some of those inches back on reach.. i literally cannot touch my ceiling, and normally i can easily (last time i tried was like 3-4 weeks ago, not like i try to remember though etc).

BW = 155 (b4shits) soreness = none really aches/injuries = felt good early on except for left ankle a little, mid back after jump session fatigue = moderate (7 hours sleep)
diet = protein shake + 1 tspn coffee, jumps, protein shake, cheese burger + protein shake, walk/interval sprint, half protein shake, strength, protein shake, protein shake + PB sandwhich
workout #1: jumps - pics/vids in earlier posts on this thread, got up nice, indoor
workout #2: walk/interval - 6 mile walk with mixed interval sprints in, very light on the sprints.. - felt INSANELY light/explosive, perhaps the best ive ever felt during a walk
backward drops = depth drops going backwards.. im doing these because, forward depth drops are hurting my ankle.. when i land forward, too much forward knee travel leading to overdorsiflexion.. backward drops eliminate this, but they are much more intense on achilles/calfs/hamstrings.. i like them 100x better though.
half squat was done with heels on 5 lb plates, got alot more quad this way..
i video taped squat/drops, the squat set i video taped was actually the worst even though it was 11, other sets i focused more on pushing hips back, but whatever.. drops were hard to stabilize after set 3.
im rendering vid right now, these daily training vids are a bitch to render.. 4min of footage = ~3 hours render time.. heh
gotta try and cut them down more, i plan on taking more footage every day.
overall, very happy with squat, i was hoping i could hit 5 sets, but if i had dropped off i was going to hit 205 for higher reps ~15+.. glad i got all 5 sets on squat.. each final rep was a grinder, so good stuff..
this jump has to be 39, bottom of that pad has to be around 40.. no cam distortion on this either really, im right under that backboard.. if you look at the pic, compare top of head to bottom of the square (for bank shots), the bottom line is 10'.. can't wait to hit my head on that backboard.. gonna be a great day, hopefully wednesday..
^^ that jump is at 26s, niice... check the dude running across the court later on in the vid, it's hilarious.. dude just out of nowhere ran up and back, then never did it again.
peace, will upload some squat /drops/dips/chinups/curls vid tmw..
so two days of 'rest' before monday, to freshen up a bit.. going to be good.. going to the outdoor roof'd court, hopefully early.. if i get there early, dunk time, if i get there late, head height + hand height.
damn... thats high... its just like an inch away man...
maybe coz of the fatigue and stuff... or the wood of the court...
but regardless is still high...
thanks man, i liked jumping on that court, i'll most likely be going back there wednesday.

and nice lefty floaters man! and lefty moves!
hah glad you liked, ill try to go harder next time i vid something like that, i was holding back alot for the most part.. couldnt really get into dribbling intense for some reason.

But today im just going to do some speed work for lower body since ill be playing ball at 6 and grappling tomorrow from 10-2 then tattoo at 3

Yo at first glance it looked like you were springing up off the table in this pic. Is the bottom of the orange rectangle attached to the rim at the same height as in your previous vid? Awesome height tho, especially considering the shitload of fatigue you've accumulated!
ya it looks about the same, compare my head height in this recent pic with the line of the 'square' on the backboard, the bottom line.. or look at the other pic on the previous page, if i was right under the box, i'd be about 1" lower than the previous session.. still very close to it.
in the pic on this page, im behind the net, pretty much right under the bottom of the backboard.. so you have to compare with what's on the backboard, not the front of the rim.. front of the rim looks higher because of the angle.
i'm like 1" from the bottom of that pad, has to be around 9'4, because the bottom of the box is only like 1-2" above the bottom of the pad.

google judd biasotto...602 ?? at 132 lbs...advocate of pavel's high freq(grease the grove more or less), high volume, varying intensity, no fatigue, perfect technique, practicing a movement rather than 'working out'
damn, drop a thread on him mang.
More impressive is the 320kg squat WR in IPF 60kg.
Weightlifters still own powerlifters in squatting when you take into account gear and depth though. Even the powerlifting squat specialists who are uncompetitive overall don't squat as well as the weightlifters.
yup, i don't even enjoy watching PL squats to be honest.. oly squats all day err day 50 tyson.
