Haven't journaled much lately, workouts have been haphazard.  Taking a break from the ATG stuff, the KOT squats aggravated my knee,

ah damn that sucks about the knee.

Quote
and I want to add in more jumping into my workouts.  Just ordered 'applied sprint training' by James Smith the other day.  About 1/4 of the way through it.  Good explanation of Charlie Francis type workouts, but it's a tough read.  Also just got 'speed strength' by Joel Smith, gonna start on that one next.

I really need to focus on my lower leg (foot/ankle/calf) strength and elasticity, aerobic conditioning and shoulder health.  Started a high/low type set up yesterday, so we'll see how it goes.

BW:  didn't weigh

Workout 1:

Warmup:  marches, skips, high knees....forward and backward

Was planning on a few short sprints afterward, but achilles felt tight, so did some ~30 meter buildups instead

Hi/lo pogo jumps
Med ball chest pass
2/1 pogo jumps
Rotational med ball throws

Squat 3x2
Incline Bench 3x3

ATG ankle exercise
Shoulder dislocates

Workout 2:

SL stand
ISO pushup
ISO BSS
Scap pullup
ISO calf

i remember James Smith on CF forums, smart guy, also very combative iirc. hah.

two pool sessions: dog fun + rehab-ish workouts
- james jumps in easy now.. it's awesome. he just jumps in, usually leaping as far as possible into the pool, then he swims fast, going right for me, trying to get the ball that i'm taunting him with etc.. he swims so fast it's nuts. i try to escape sometimes and i can't even begin to escape, he's on me so quick. hah.

signed up for "BEYOND+" membership today, a Bed Bath & Beyond discount membership.

it gives me 20% off of every purchase throughout the year (except for some select items).

today it saved me $55 total.

AND

I CAN APPLY IT TO THE PREVIOUS 14 DAYS OF RECEIPTS:

Prelude> (99.47 + 131.47 + 27.79 + 57.73 + 294.34) * 0.20
122.16

So between today & the previous 14 days worth of receipts: $55 + $122 - $40 = $137 :wowthatwasnutswtf: :wowthatwasnutswtf: :wowthatwasnutswtf:

finally a smart move by adarqui.. lmfao. :goodjobbro:
