« on: November 27, 2010, 05:05:27 am »
Well.. Frank wants pussy haha. Just look at his "Max Effort Whoring Adventure" on Facebook. In Frank's defense, he's not some T.V. show that got cancelled and returned with a crappy premiere. Weird analogy, lol.

good analogy haha.. i could care less, if he wants to vert/strength train, then cool, if not, cool, his art is nice, he's weird, he writes cool shit.. it's funny to see people beg him for training videos.

Anywways if you want to see more stuff like that... scream more while lifting, become bi-polar and record yourself while doing it. Also remember to run suicides after/while drinking a gallon of milk and eating a crapload of bananas, do ghetto workouts with your screaming brother and do/show funny shit in high school to upload them on youtube later.

yup.. the next frank yang is waiting to be unleashed, inside of you!!!  :-\

I'm lakers from the vertical summit. I need an active forume, and Dreyth is my username on pretty much all other forums so I'll stick to it. I'll also change it on the vertical summit.

whatup man, was surprised this was you after seeing the username/topic title.. drop some of your dunk /squat vids in here so people have an idea what you've done, you've had some great progress.

welcome to the forum, and ya, tvs is not very active, hasn't been in a while, sucks :/

Is there anyway to quickly transfer my log over from there? I've got almost 50 weeks on it.

unfortunately no :/ i don't have access to the raw mysql database though anyway, and asking adam for access to do that would be kind of foul.. ahaha

peace man

Are you UL that 21 footage. Dont know what that is, so Im curious.

:D

a jump and a game of 21 ^^^ ... i want to play in full courts, i'd pull of some insane footage.. need to fig out how to anchor my camcorder, if i could figure that out, make it "unstealable" (making it very hard to steal it), then i'd be able to get some great footage..

i plan on tearing up some courts again..... i think it's time

11/26/2010

bw = 154
soreness = hamstrings (alot)
aches/injuries = left ankle, left lower back... left ankle hurt before playing the game of 21, then during it felt fine, and after it felt fine.
fatigue = moderate

diet = protein shake + 1 teaspoon coffee, jumps/basketball, protein shake, turkey/mashed potato leftovers + 2 pieces of pumpkin pie, squatting + protein shake, protein shake

workout #1:
- jumps & game of 21

workout #2:
- half squat: 45 @ 3x10, 135 @ 10, 185 @ 5, 205 @ 5, 225 @ 15, 15,
- neutral grip pullups: 10, 10, 10

great speed on those 225 x 15's.... 225 x 20 will fall soon on vid and it'll look good, won't look like hell.

peace

Video quality from my phone is pretty gross. I may replace it eventually, but there it is. My first day landing a back tuck. On the best of the ones I did, but it was decent. Later I was getting higher and I was told I might be able to do a standing full. Who knows. Adding a full turn to that would terrify me, but I learned it it would be amazing.

nice!!!

Wednesday = Anniversary with GF = no workout
Yesterday = Thanksgiving = no workout
Today, went a did this sick ropes course with my family, supposedly the biggest and most badass in the US, only one of its kind here. It was really fun. Then I went to the gym and tied (maybe beat) an absolute PR in DLRVJ and did it 3 or 4 times, to boot. CNS was blazing. My phone display was broken earlier today but I got home, plugged it in just now and it started working again, I started shouting in celebration, heard a door slam elsewhere in the apartment, walked into the living room, saw a pair of wine glasses and heard some soft music on and saw my roommate's door closed and laughed at myself for crushing the mood.
 :highfive:

warm up
shoot around -- inconsistent as hell
various stretches

work
sprint x4x15y
1-step x4 -- terrible, 29.5 at best
sprint x1x15y
1-step x4 -- better, 29.5-30
sprint x1x15y
full run-up x4 -- meh
sprint x1x15y
full run-up x4 -- YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES 31.5 YES YES YES YES YES YES

From then on just a bunch more full run-ups, maybe 10 or 12, hitting 31.5 at least twice more and 30.5 several other times. Was super inconsistent, though, CNS was so fired up that at least 4 of the jumps were a complete waste as I got way out of control on the run up and just blew the plant. Got 30 on a couple of those and barely went vertical at all on a couple of others (lol). The whole time I was shaking my head and saying, "It's short, it's so fucking short," to myself over and over.

MR half tucks 3x15
pogos 4x5 -- felt better than any other pogos I've done

I'm starving now. Time for food.

 :headbang:

sick man! that's great news about the jumps & pogos.. hopefully some new pr's coming..

that ropes course sounds really fun too.. u got an url ?

happy anniversary broooo.

a few jumps, first one is before a game of 21, second pic is after.. i got footage of a game of 21, should be fun footage.. i need to start doing that more often, was fun just burning people again.. i was ridiculously fast on the court.. if i could find a way to anchor my cam to my tripod and then to the ground, i'd record full court games lol.

@zetz: what helped me the most was eating, heavy lifting, eating and then some eating! Im a protein type, so i gained best with lots of protein and fat and just some carbs after my workouts. if theres one important thing i could tell you its: dont stuff yourself all the time! you should try to have high insulin sensitivity, so the nutrients you take in are used for building muscle. there was a time when i ate 5000kcal every day without gaining any weight. during the 3 weeks of smolov jr i ate about 3000-4000kcal and gained about 5lb.
for tricking you can check out http://www.tricksession.com/forums/

those gymnastic gyms look like so much fun.

:o No wonder that weak looking japanese guy could hit a 10.00 100m.

Wouldn't bionics make you a paraplegic though which then would put you in Paraplympics

"paraPlympics" lol.... jeremy wariner was actually afraid to run against the bionic man, he pulled up right after the start in a 400m.

I give those paralympics dudes/women mad credit, they got so much heart.

but regardless, if you run 9.1 in the 100m using level-8, doesn't matter where you ran it.

:)
