this sounds really good man.
can't wait for a new dunk session vid

strooooong BSS man!

awesome.

An all-missed attempts dunk session. Classic.
I had countless of those. Damn, those are frustrating for sure. The important thing is to bounce back though, in every sense.
I know you will, and soon.

just watched it.
7:42 is pure awesomness. I just love those one handed combos. They worked pretty well for me back when in the days I was into martial arts.
Overall, good quickness, good combos, much better then the last time I saw you (and I remember you were not bad at all!).
Just try some metal/rock next time:p

moreover: why they just determined the THS alone (i.e. without the FT3 and FT4)?

I would say it really looks like a bit of iron deficiency. you basically have little red blood cells, with a less than expected emoglobin content in each of them, wich is something you find during iron deficiency. It seems not a B12-folate deficiency (despite it should have explaiend the low platelet count as well) because in this condition you'd find bigger than normal red blood cells. It's nothing to be too worried about.

just be sure to eat some red meat from time to time.

glucose is fine if you eated 5 min before the exam.

the platelet count is a bit on the low side too. Everything KellyB said (among the drugs even the antibiotics sometimes can lower the count, so if you had taken some this can be the reason)  might explain that. I assume you had no hemorrhage related symptoms, so it could simply be a lab error . Do you have any other recent blood test's results?

other things are quite irrelevant.

Well, it worked just as you wrote above for me.
At the beginning, the strenght gains transfer into vert was quite significant. I was surprised to the point I actually thought I could have focused only on lifting hard and see results despite neglecting everything else. Then my vert kinda plateaued a bit. So I went into your "power-strenght" routine, doing some stuff I never did before and cutting the volume with the weights in order to be fresh + stim two days before a dunk session and I was able to jump like never before. So, basing on my personal experience, I can only say your words are gold. Period.

Anyway, I'm actually training Upper body-core-doing calf raises right now.
 ;)

nothing more than that though.

I should have my MRI next week, so keep your fingers crossed for me.

so basically
strenght base-muscle building+specific movement mastery+proper fatigue managing=success

Lack in one of those departments=FAIL

Am I forgetting something?

Andrew, I'm serious man, I must  stop reading your posts for a bit. If I really care about my health, I just have to.
I mean, it's not fair to be so motivating.
all of those infos, principles and concepts... damn! I'm injured, I should be patient, and all I can think about right now is "gotta start training again no matter what"

Again: not fair.

the cops of your previous dreams clearly were after you because you are a freaking dreamworld's psycho-killer.
Slashing pirates and throwing red head guys over a balcony all day...what do you expected?

erm, never thought about it like that.. that's actually very interesting: the thought that what I do in one dream may have consequences in another dream.

nice :)

do you dream alot ESav? I'm finding that I might be the most vivid dreamer on these forums. haha.

Yes I do.
What would a man be without his dreams, afterall?

Lots of people aren't dreaming though, especially remembering them, from what I see.

Quote
In the last period I dreamed a lot about returning to play ball-dunking-lifting again....

Last night I had a nightmare. I misdiagnosed a patient and he died because of my mistake. I felt so guilty and, on top of that, everyone around me was obviously looking at me as I was a sort of monster. I really hope this is not a sight of things to come.

I think we dream mostly about our fears, which may help us prepare for the future. All my dreams are completely nutty, every night, usually have some kind of violence in them. oOodd :)

pc

Speaking for myself, I don't have bad dreams so often.
I usually dream about something positive, as a matter of fact.
but hey, shit happens in the dreamworld also, from time to time. I have a lot of useless-nonsense dreams also.

Your theory is fascinating though. Really. You are basically saing your subconscious gives your inconscious some big time hard work in order to keep you ready to handle stressful situation without breaking your whole personality into pieces once they happen in real life. I don't know if that is original-brand new,if so you got a future in psychoanalysis man.

P.S.: Did you ever happened to be conscious it was a dream while you were dreaming, becoming a sort of godly entity changing the dream reality as you liked? I did...Those were good dream-times!

yeah man. scary as hell.
even more scary if you consider, like I did, that this came right when my right knee started feeling a lil better, thus configurating a sort of cosmic conspiracy against what should be my dunk quest 2.0...
AhAHAhAhahaH

seriously, I'm glad we are "fine". It could be much worse.
My gf has to check her neck in the next months though, just to be sure it's nothing serious. Let's hope it is so.

Read only now. (I went through the whole journal)
Damn: I got the same on March the 4th!

how bad was it?!?

my bumper got popped off a bit, bringing the car in soon. The guy who did it lives in my neighborhood, I see him all the time now.. hah

me and my girlfriend actually went to the hospital.
We both had neck issues.
I was fine after all. But her x-rays were like WTF?!?.
I never saw a cervical spine so straight.

She is now fine though. thx for asking man.
