took some pics to see how my depth changes during the 315's, currently rendering a vid, 14min33s video hah.. using damien's techniques for rendering misc-footage, renders much quicker, this render is going to take 1-1.5 hours versus 12 hours with after effects.

here's generally when the reps occured, this is actually before i unrack the bar:

0:20
1:40
3:12
4:30
6:05
7:50
9:25
11:00
12:30
14:00 fail

reps in succession, nice depth imo for my half squatting:

That slow mo dunk was nice man..really nice extension on it...you were actually descending when you attempted the dunk which looked pretty dope...You're an inspiration man..you train hard and you get good results.

appreciate it very much man! hope i can continue to motiv8, gotta get higher!@$

I slacked a whole lot this week with my eating...gonna clean it up for the last few days before Christmas and just maintain over Christmas...Once i'm back in the New Year after this short recovery break i'm gonna be ready to kill it. I wanna catch up to where you are by the end of the year.

i stopped eating the chocolates lying around the house yesterday, can't wait until new years lol ;0 cleaned up diet alot yesterday/today, we'll see how long it lasts, but it's funny i was 153 (instead of 154-155) this morning after cleaning up diet for just one day and getting a bit more walking volume in.

pc!

It's great seeing you're getting much more consistent on your jumps.
Dunk session was NICE, about a month ago you'd have one of those each session, now they're all sweet and powerfull.

thanks man!

I still feel that shit is quite monotomous though and I'd be bored after throwing down 5 of those in a row.

i'm not bored one bit :D

Quote
Cmonson, lean one in or throw in a bit of variation and you'll see that these basic dunks get easier too, that's what happened for me anyway, don't you want to throw in reverse pumps nd shit? (since you were hating on those people on your back to throw down 360s)
All it takes is a bit of technique, a bit of practise and you'll be having even more fun ( I think, you's a weird cat though so I'm prob wrong lmao).

you're wrong CURRENTLY, if i'm jumping 45+ then i'll love doing btl's, windmills, reverses, 360's, etc.. but it's like trying to showoff to the chicks while driving a volkswagon beetle, i need a lambo :)

Quote
All I'm saying is vartiation; trying reverses and dunks from different angles etc, helped my standard dunks and it made things easier for dunking in games (which I still rarely do, just saying, I feel I can cause of the variation though).

Also, plz jump 4 top of ? next time

ya i got to do some of those jumps for top of square, i'd be 4-5" inches under it on a close to peak jump, i imagine.

pc

I WANT an Adarqui squatflex ad. You know, saying how he did his first dunked after using squatflex (I'm sure you'll find a way to... use it). That'd be great.

would be funny, i've been planning on doing some spoofs ;)

darq you live in florida rite?
the weather up there seems amazing

ya it's still palm tree weather and the rest of the country is frozen.. lowest it got was a few days ago, 37, but last night it was back up to 60.

btw, high freq squat is pretty much JUST SQUATTING in terms of lifting, sprints/jumps/etc are used for the other aspects of training.. when high frequency squatting you just can't be expending too much energy on other exercises.. first week always sucks, 2nd week gets better.

I think protein drink will be good for you, you can get it with milk as milk also has many proteins in itself.
Also eggs are good for you. Try to eat fresh vegetables and fruits.

spam bot? very intelligent spam bot? lol

I think u should break out the homemade vertec 4 A good measure brahh

ya the only problem is, i only feel comfortable jumping off 2 steps max.. if i go from 3-4 steps, i can travel too far laterally and almost land on the base, freaks me out, adam from TVS tore an ankle ligament like that.. it's not like it's only specific to our home made vertec though, i'd have bad jumps on a real vertec too.

so ya, dno.. :/

When did you get above 150lbs again? Damn, I wish my weight went up as fast as yours did. :P

ya as i get older it's easier for me to put on weight.. when i was < 24 i couldn't put on weight for shit unless I REALLY tried (stuffing my face all day).

" [Jacob] 3. has nothing to do with track and field on any significant level, but has his own method of teaching the penultimate step (if you watch the video and have a brain you can see when he is not looking at his notes that he has no idea what he is talking about). :

1. I was a jumper in high school and recruited to college and competed at state, and conference levels.

More importantly...

2. I have trained Olympic high jumpers, long, and triple jumpers including the Nation record holder of India for High Jump and Triple Jump. I also trained their coaching staff per invitation at Sports Authority of India. The picture... that you said I "shopped" is me after training the Olympic and Powerlifting teams on how to use chains and bands as well as setting up a training to maximize explosive ability. This was all in person and I have testimonials and pictures with me training and teaching their Olympic development staff.

lol i was kidding, didn't know if it was shopped or not, it just has a shopped feel with a big white dude in between two indian dudes.

lookin` big.

3. Dude.. to just come out and say I "plagiarized" is pretty rough... could you show me the video you think I used so I could see where you are coming from?

Again I'm just trying to represent myself here...

Adarq -

"he is not looking at his notes" - ?????

I've taught this very technique in person 1000 times to countless athletes in several sports... I don't need notes for it... I would if I didn't know it off the top of my head.

Anyways, I'm not trying to start a fight, but I just want to be represented fairly bro.

I'm honestly just baffled at how certain "LanceSTS" that I have even seen Adam's video... Please link me, I tried to find it but can't.

I GUARANTEE I can trace back me teaching this concept before mine or Links video EVER came out. It was in the original Jump Manual, and I taught it before I even put my program online.

Adam L. I'm sure did not plagiarize me (although I haven't seen all his stuff on this I don't think) and he's a cool fella ... but SEVERAL people have AND I have later been accused of copying my own copycats! Jumping for for basketball, and track is something I have been doing since highschool, in 1998.

I already see people posting material that is in my jumping form ebook... did they come up with it separately from me? Not sure... all I now is several bits of it I have never seen ANYWHERE else - and now bits are starting to pop up.

In the end I don't fret it... we all build upon the body of knowledge and are "standing on the shoulders of giants" so to speak. When people copy my stuff it's a compliment, and I would appreciate a shout out... but there are at least 2 programs out there that are amazingly similar to mine and came out later. And dozens of articles I have written I have seen verbatim or paraphrased by others.

Think of how Louie, or Verk. must feel.

I'm just sayin...

hey man, ya if you didn't "take that info from adam linkenauger's video" then I truly apologize.

here's Adam's vid:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU0j6utv_10

Here's your vid:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czwYS6feqEQ

Your vid came out before adam's above, but their was another video adam put out long ago on the same stuff. You could have for sure learned all of this on your own, or under the instruction of your track & field coaches, so saying you "definitely" stole that info is dumb on my part (i think i said that not sure). I forget the timeline of events, lance/a-link know about this "drama" better than I do, as I really didn't follow it.

peace
