surprisingly good session considering how jacked up i feel.

11:15 AM: walk + some harder efforts (45-60s) + light mile at the end
- https://www.strava.com/activities/2671368685
- sweatshirt in the heat
- short hard efforts were ~12 mph (5:00 min/mi pace)
- light mile at the very end was 6:56 (decent!)

stretch:
- lots of pool stretching
- lots of intense adductor (split) stretching in the pool, taking the bw load off really helps

mfr:
- lacrosse ball sacrum/sacral spine/right glute
- hit some very good spots tonight

must keep attacking.

lots of yard work/house work today, 2 pool sessions (pool stretching as well - intense adductors/split stuff).

~30 min lacrosse ball on sacrum/sacral spine. gonna attack it hard the next few weeks.

ran w/ gizmo/james today after going to watch an XC meet.

we probably did 2 x ~half mile, hehe. gizmo is so fast if he wants to be. he was just chillin in this vid. he can really turn on the jets.

james is a meatball but loves to run more than gizmo does.

intense stretching today. AM session helped alot. tightened back up by the evening. then did some crazy stuff in the pool.

can really do some interesting stretches in the pool.. like standing glute stretch while lightly hopping up/down etc. felt pretty good. also did some intense adductor stretches in the pool.

blows my mind how it can disappear, come back, disappear, come back, etc. sacrum wrecked. lulz.

injury area has been acting up alot the last few days.

this morning, i "released it". long (20+min) bent over toe touch stretch, but then used the edge of my pool to grip and pull myself down even further. really got it deep in my sacrum.

that feeling of it "relaxing" is amazing.. i mean for nearly 2 hours, if i bend over to touch the ground, don't feel it at all.

i'm sure it'll come back.. but stuff like this gives me hope that it'll just magically disappear at some point.

If you get a tower, I definitely recommend that it's one where the chinup bar and the dip bars are on opposite sides. The one I use has them both on the same side, and that's been really annoying. Feel very constrained when doing chins.

thanks for the info!

ya, the main things that are preventing me from buying something are sturdiness & these things being too narrow/small. i'd love more room to do rings etc.. and not feel like i'm boxed in. I'd also love to do pullups without having to bend my legs on the way down. that'd be so sick.

my power rack is ok, but still i'd like even more space than my rack.

every "power station" i see, is pretty narrow and short.

that last thing i linked is what I want, sucks that i can't find anything like it in the US yet. Would be cool if I could get one custom made by some welder/beast. dno yet..

pc!
