i think because of the grill thing you have to root for the falcons now. (arthur blank owns home depot and the falcons.)

but i hate home depot. can't ever find any1 there to help you. and when you do, often times they are trying to get rid of you.

nothing but bad experiences at home depot... :D

boo falcons.

loosening up adductors considerably lately, mostly because of the ability to do it in the pool. right one still overly tight tho.

09/09/2019:

injury areas tightening up as the days go on.

AM: pool stretch
- intense

PM: pool stretch
- more intense

long stretch:
- bent over toe touch: ~15 minutes

trigger point release (attempts): 1.5 hr w/ lacross ball
- all right glute/piriformis etc
- extremely tender
- dug into it good but, way too tender

totally forgot.. the best thing that happened this weekend, an unofficial WR by Brigid Kosgei @ the Great North Run: 64:28 (1:04:28). Shattered the official WR by 21s? Unofficial because the Great North Run isn't WR eligible (point to point race).

man she was flying..

did it entirely on her own too. unreal.

I think that's 4:55 min/mi pace? :wowthatwasnutswtf: :ibrunning: :wowthatwasnutswtf: :ibrunning:

they are trying to make Loma vs Tank

can't believe all these noobs are picking Tank lmao. triablism FTL.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85BbJ04O4vc

lol I didn't expect anything less then mayweather's representative to vote for tank,

ya exactly.. :uhhhfacepalm:

ironically, Loma would look like Floyd against Tank, IMHO. All that power doesn't mean a thing if it can't connect.

Quote
I think lomachenko would be too fast and would drill him with so many combos but I don't see lomachenko knocking him out. If loma traded with him then not looking good for loma.

yea for sure. just standing in there sloppy w/ Tank would be a bad idea.. maybe not so much in rounds 8+ though. By that time, Tank could be pretty beat down.

i can see Loma KO'n Tank.

the carbon fiber plate is cool, how it's stiff in some ways and flexible in others.

got visa, leaving for london in ~15 minutes. our expected place to stay tonight fell through and i can't reach my gf now to confirm booking an airbnb so might have to leave for the airport without knowing my actual destination tomorrow, lol. heeeere we go.

i missed this, you're moving to London? when did this happen - belgium was the plan last i read (or is london just en-route?)

i'll be down there quite a bit over the next few months as my gf is currently living there, lets park run!

yes! adarq.org london park run meetup!

who else is here and wants to run?

can't wait for this park run/race meetup. that's going to be fun. :ibrunning: :ibrunning: :ibrunning:

one day i'll run with you folks.. somehow. :ninja:

ETA: it's funny, that's three adarq.org members whose gfs are drawing them to london.

hah. that's cool.

best final i've seen in a long time.

Nadal gets it done, incredible performance by both guys.

Medvedev has ice cold emotions like Federer, this dude is legit.

box jumps were nice!

Was looking at some jump technique videos of how to SVJ and how to box jumps and they all seem to squat a lot deeper then I do and I think that might be the reason why I am not able to bring my knees higher in my sprint and therefore my hip extension at a deep range at an explosive capacity maybe weak because I am not properly jumping, will plan on practicing jumping at home where I squat down with proper depth in squat and hip extension.

not sure. two completely different movements. i like your style of box jump better in regards to sprinting/jumping. it's more on the reactive/explosive side of the equation imho. deep preloading is fine but i like the quicker/shorter bursts.

deep box jumping technique would probably link more to the initial portion of the drive phase, than top speed. sounds like you're talking about knee drive during top speed tho?

as for getting knees up during top speed, to me that's addressed more so through drills and specific mobility exercises - like hurdle mobility etc. even a few millimeters of ROM improvement at the same turnover etc would potentially yield some big results, so it's not like one needs to make drastic mobility improvements.

good stuff!
