np man, you deserve every word.

Everything is in stand by right now, as I'm waiting the results of the competition for the new job. I can't undergo surgery if I have to start with the new job next month.
So I'm just sitting all day long, waiting to know what's up next. :|
thx for asking Andrew.

god, i am such a dickhead.. he mentioned he was pro mma so, i wanted to see his record.. well on his site you can't even find his name, wtf?

anyway, i ended up back tracing him using Gladiator Challenge 8:

he's 1-2:

http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Matt-Barrazza-375

"At the age of 17, Matt began his fruitful career as a professional fighter, winning numerous competitions in King of the Cage I, II, and III, Gladiator Challenge 8, Rage in the Cage, and Mat Madness 2003. He has competed and won in a prominent Jiu Jitsu purple belt division competition in Brazil and is undefeated in Pancrase MMA in Japan.

In the midst of his professional fighting career, he began operating Fight Sport in Southern California, educating aspiring fighters in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Kickboxing, and Judo."

he's undefeated in pancrase because he never fought in it... :/ he definitely inflated his stats.

whatever i'm not trying to shit on the guy i just found it interesting.

peace

4/9/2010

so, I walk up to my park spot, and I start loosening up before the shadow boxing.. I see this car coming down the canal path, so I'm not going to start shadow boxing until it passes, who knows who is in it.. then I see lights flashing, so it's a cop.. so he's coming closer and closer, real slow, then he parks parallel to me.

So i'm like......................... fucking bleh.

Cop gets out of his car starts coming up to me.

I take off my ear phones and I go "hey whats up?".

So he goes: "Everything ok?"

I go: "Yea why?"

He goes: "Well I just saw you standing out here just wanted to make sure everything was alright" (lol)

So I go: "Ya im just getting ready to do some training, shadow boxing" <-- and as i say shadow boxing, i move my fists like I'm getting ready to punch, like, it was just a reflex that happened to the thought of shadow boxing..

SO WHEN I DID THAT

This fucker puts his hand on his gun and points at me and i immediately go

"NO no no dude chill hahaa it was just a reflex im about to do boxing training"

And he goes: "Ohhh ok ok well alright be safe"

So he walks off slowly and I'm cracking up but god damn that fucking reflex almost got me capped.

bwahaha.

scared ass cops.

W....T....F.... ?!?!?!?!

For a minute i thought i was reading your dream journal , LOL

That was exactly what I thought!
Fear the scared cops!

JUMPING SESSION :
Jumping on concrete, 10' rim jumps, late afternoon , 15' Celsium.
Bodyweight@session ~192,5lbs.

As allways , dynamic warmup 5' , 2x10sec line hops , bunch of low/mid effort jumps.
2x4 SVJs : avg = max = 26''
2x4 RVJs : avg = max = 31''
Meh...
SVJs felt weak , were weak too.
RVJs felt good but werent that high.
I felt really fluid , runups improved : instead of 3 steady speed steps i had 1 slow and 2 with good acceleration.
But instead of jumping higher with that form improvement, i jumped lower... duh!!!  :-\

WEIGHTS :
SQUATS ( not MSEM , normal sets , 4x6 ):
Warmup sets:
10xbar
6x77
4x121
2x165
Work sets:
1x6@187lbs
1x6@209lbs ( +11lbs )
1x6@220lbs ( +11lbs )
1x6@209lbs

BSS:
8x132 ( +11lbs )
8x154
8x176 ( equals PR )

STANDING CALVE RAISES:
12x264
12x330
10x374 ( +22lbs , shits on previous PR , WTF , 374 ?!?!?!? )

Green/Red = comparison with equal set of previous workout , green = positive , red = negative

Congrats for your new PR!
Bionic calves!

AUT is just ridiculous, he would win an NBA contest with those warm up dunks easily.
I gotta say that the best all time dunks for me, in game and in contest, are Vince's.
He dunked the ball like nobody thought would be possible during the 2000 SDC.
And the "in your Weiss" dunk is the best in game dunk of all times hands down.

I agree with you. I wanted to stress out the fact that he actually masters a great variety of awesome dunks, greater than most of the taller guys.

area 51 is a beast too.
little dunkers FTW!

He is one of those special dunkers you are never tired to see in action.
And he never fails to amaze you each and every time.

May I say the man is the best dunker under 6 feet (and maybe overall with Vince and AUT) ever?

i'd say best under 6' for sure.. he seems to have alot of ups and downs during contests but his good footage is just ridiculous.

i wonder what they got going on with the mcdonald's slam dunk contest, looks like he'll be in it somehow.

edit: actually it already happened on the 31st, i missed it..

http://www.unathleticmag.com/2010/03/31/josh-shelby-win-the-2010-mcdonalds-dunk-contest/

dno what TFB did there.

maybe a sort of out of contest show?

however: how many dunkers, even over 6 feet, can 540, 360 BTL, double up BTL?
at his best the guy is simply unreal.
