Really like how this guy does them using the cable machine.

I could imagine it being so much smoother.

Just use a 3 pt stance to start.

You have a good point.

Allan Wells running in the second semi-final heat (Lane 5) & final (Lane 3).

Starting blocks overrated?.

how'd u find that? kinda cool actually.

Yeah, I just ordered one. I have had a trimmed beard since day 1, same color as yours.

Makes me better looking than being clean shaven.  :P

Razors can really fuck up your skin anyway.

I agree that i stepped way over the line, but, what I said is the truth. Calling his son unathletic wasn't a polite thing to do, but he brags about molding his kid for years, unfortunately using many schroeder-like ideologies, but what does his son have to show for it?.

West will know for certain there is FAR more to running fast than ISO extremes.

Old time strongmen were massive on ISO's, I would bet a good chunk of money many of them couldn't run that fast.

What time duration did West recommend his son hold these ISO's for?. 5mins?.

30 m sprint from today, what do you think i should do to improve acceleration?

Purchase some starting blocks, a start clapper & some decent sprint spikes. I recommend the Gill Fusion Blocks.
Strength is an extremely important component because you have to overcome the inertia of the body.
Hit the posterior chain, glutes & quads. The calves/shins can provide an additional 20% to 25% of the power needed for an explosive start. Along with max strength, increase elastic strength. Elasticity is under appreciated for a good start.
Acceleration begins with the arms. It is clear that explosive leg movements are predetermined by explosive arm movements.
Run bunches of 10 - 40m accelerations.
Initial acceleration is determined by stride length (not stride rate). "Don't spin your wheels". (Having said that I'm torn on Ben Johnson's start in Seoul '88). Probably the greatest start in history.
Practice relaxation technique. The more muscle relaxed, the greater the muscle contraction.
As you went by the camera, you didn't seem to have very good knee lift (maybe shutting down/stopping?.), I downloaded it & put it in slo-mo. Increase strength particularly in the core/hip flexors to improve this.
Don't wear full tights.

fish makes me sick so it will have to do i guess.

what makes you think that caps are so inferior? obviously its not as natural and you loose all the other nutrients...but you still get the EPA/DHA?

Trust me, I've done my research when I was fighting a particular medical condition.

Some studies suggest the oils in fresh fish such as Alaskan salmon can be as much as 5x more effective/5x better quality than that of cod liver oil caps etc.

ok so, try to sleep at 4am, been trying to fix my sleep schedule for a few weeks now.. got it down from 6am to 4-4:30 am.. but sleep sucks now, i wakeup way too much.. so i've gone back to using melatonin to try and help me get a better night's sleep, but that shuts me down mentally when i'm dunking.. i've noticed that when i use melatonin, the next day i just can't get into that 4th or 5th gear.. i consider myself to have 5 gears while dunking.. when i get lack of sleep, sometimes i'm fine, i can still tap into that ability.. but when i use melatonin, even if i get alot of sleep, much of the time i end up just being unable to psyche up at all, i can literally feel this "haze" in my brain.. i just can't get into 4th or 5th gear, usually can't even get into 4th, like today... whenever i have this "burning feeling in my eyes", i'm just fucked, nothing i can do to have a primed workout, and with my goals, i need to be primed every god damn day.. im fucking up..

I'm just trying to wrap my head around your diet.

diet = protein/water-drink + gatorade-drink, dunking + protein/gatorade-drink, protein/water-drink + green-tea, protein/water-drink, running with dog, green tea + 3 eggs + tons of egg whites + 2 cheese, protein/water-drink, protein/water-drink, stacked turkey & cheese sandwich on pumpernickel + 2 full gatorades in 16oz water.

Why so much protein?.... So little carbs (energy)?. No fruit & veg?. So your taking a top multi-vit?. Where are your minerals?.

Why so much gatorade?. Is that a sugar drink?.

2 full gatorades?. That right before bed?.

cardio-lift workout in more readable format:

cardio-lift-session{
jump-rope=200,calve-raise=225x15-20,pin-7-squat=225x10,ng-pullups=10
+ jump-rope=200,plate-swing=35x15,275x10
+ jump-rope=200,calve-raise=225x15-20,ng-pullups=10
+ jump-rope=200,plate-swing=35x10-15,pin-7-squat=295x10
+ jump-rope=200,calve-raise=225x15-20,ng-pullups=10
+ jump-rope=200,plate-swing=35x10-15,pin-7-squat=295x10
+ jump-rope=200,calve-raise=225x15-20,ng-pullups=10
+ jump-rope=200,plate-swing=35x10-15,pin-7-squat=295x10
+ jump-rope=200,calve-raise=225x15-20,ng-pullups=10
+ jump-rope=200,plate-swing=35x10-15,pin-7-squat=295x10
+ jump-rope=200,calve-raise=225x15-20,ng-pullups=10
+ jump-rope=200+calve-stretching.

Damn, those calves are gettin' blasted.

What is the primary purpose for including so much jump rope?. Is it cardio related?, weightloss?, elastic strength? etc or all 3?.

some stills from dunking.. dunking without beanie is tough due to hair flopping, now that i have to focus more, going back to beanie.. anyway, got up nice but just too distracted with the hair, some nice short lobs, a few nice max rvj's but nothing special.. tomorrow should be alot better though, interested to see how i respond now that im on a mission.

I was a carbon copy of you a few years back with the ginger beard/brown long hair/rebel/fuck conforming etc. My long hair was actually getting in the way all the time, got really bored of it & looking after it.

You should do what I do, keep the beard the same length as your hair (maintaining that rough n' ready look). So you would probably use a blade 3 or 4 buzz cut all over. Looks a lot better, feels a lot better too. Try it, see how it looks.

Mosley was lightening back in the day.
