Thought I would give an update on the dosages I'm using and how I feel.

The past couple of days I have been taking 2g of Piracetam, 1 serving of Power Drive, and 500mg of DMAE. I don't seem to have any side effects off of this. I think I was experiencing some brain fog from taking too much Piracetam.

I have noticed a huge difference in my emotions... much wider range.... I can get extremely excited/amp'd listening to music or thinking about vert or something. Like for the dunk session yesterday I made a special vert mix that I was listening to on the ride over and of course during the session... on the ride over I had goosebumps.

 But of course the trade off is I can get angry and become very irritable. I'm pretty sure this is mostly due to coming off of the ssri as these reportedly "blunt" your emotions. Although the irritability is annoying I would rather have the wide range as that is what makes us human. I will just have to learn to deal with the anger/irritability better which I think I will be able to by thinking... when I was on an ssri this stuff didn't bother me and I did fine. So I know what the feeling/mindset is like, just have to recreate it.

Edit: Something else I have noticed, not sure what this is from... "sweets" don't taste as good to me now. I have never been a big sweets consumer but I usually keep at least something like Oreos stocked. Today they didn't even sound good, I ate one then put them away. I've noticed the thought of eating sweets lately doesn't even sound good, I only do it because it is a conditioned habit that it is supposed to taste good but lately as I take the first bite I think to myself this doesn't even taste that good. Next time you eat something sweet really think about how it tastes and ask yourself if it really tastes that good... I bet sometimes you'll realize it doesn't and you're just doing it out of habit and because you have been conditioned to think it tastes good and it's a "treat" for you.

That might not make sense but it's just something I have definitely noticed lately.

nice write up.. interesting about the sweets. What's also interesting is that goosebumps response, I get the same thing when I'm jumping my highest, I can literally get goosebumps on command, at the mere thought of jumping. Come to think of it, I recall us talking about that way back.

I wonder how many other people get that..

lol, no crackkkkk. SSRI's and nootropics mess with your neurotransmitters though so you notice changes in the way you think/feel. The trick is to just get them to make you feel the way you want to.

Yea I remember us talking about the goosebumps thing. I've never had them this intense before.

What's your hand size? It looks like you're getting wrist at rim? Or is it just cam distortion?

his hand is 7", there is surely some slight distortion on that highest jump, so what looks like 2-3" down his wrist becomes more like 1" down his wrist or base of hand, which is still 127-128" - 89.5", which is

Yea my hand is 7". That angle looks like 3" of wrist over rim with the distortion but yea I think I got at least 7" (full hand) over in reality so I'll claim 37.5 or 38. Thanks for the reassurement guise. If Vag says it is, then, it is. Feel free to pick it apart though and do hangtime or whatever other calculations.

Raptor, I would say do both. I made insane progress doing both, 2x5 one day and 3x8 a few days later. If you look at the my journal, right at the beginning is pretty much where I started doing that... I had been stuck at about a ~280lb squat max for a while.

When I started the 2x5 and 3x8 phase I could do 225x8, at the end of the phase a few months later I could do 270x7. I also started taking creatine during that phase but I was upping the weight pretty much every session, and like I said, before that I had been at a plateau for a while.

Did about 10 jumps... they sucked, something like 27 and 31.5. Ended with some sprints.


10-29-10

A few jumps outside... was getting up decent... hand over the rim but no more than that... went inside really quick to check on vertec... 28 and 33.5. Only did two jumps each so I probably could have gotten .5" higher on each.

Upper body- everything has been increasing a lot since I have been taking less rest time in between workouts.

    *Did a muscle up for the first time ever which has been a goal of mine for a few months.

Core

Gonna jump again tomorrow and/or Sunday... vert should be even higher in a day or two. Lookin for a couple of big jump sessions.

Lol yea I heard about this a while ago.

The problem is a bunch or retards are going to think this is a legitimate source of protein so they are gonna go do their routine (bench, bicep curls, abz) then go to the club thinkin they're lookin hyooooooooooge and down this shit as their post workout.

Too bad they haven't come out with a vodka + stimulant infused drink so bros could go drink a bunch of it then go workout looool.

to be able to get in some jumps, play some tennis, AND THEN get in another session, man thats just incredible!

I'm 20. The tennis isn't all out though, it's mostly just friendly rallying just to get in to a groove and find a rhythm with groundstrokes. But yea thanks I appreciate the compliment.

Cool, I have heard a lot about dual n back on the nootropic forums but I've never checked it out. Definitely gonna start practicing  but should probably log how good I am at the start in order to track progress.
