ok forget about me, werm & myree are absolute gods.. they basically shut down miami.

as for me, had some nice dunks during warmups.. during competition, first round legs absolutely jello, landed a weak dunk, missed for 2nd part of round 1.. made it to second round.. had to try and get my legs back.. drank a damn sprite.. landed a real nice two hander.. missed my second dunk of round 2, legs jello again.. had a really hard throwdown just couldnt make shit... during warmup i made a real nice two hander, i think someone was in front of cam tho.. i think i got my real hard one hander on vid tho... i trolled everyone in my last dunk of round 2, shit was hilarious, u'll see.. lmfao.

anyway, was crazy fun.. i got some INSANE footage.. like godly

oh and that rim was 10' for sure.. people were complaining about it, dunkers etc.. werm didnt though, or myree.. werm was like "i'd rather dunk on this".. people thought it was higher than 10' lmao.. it kinda felt like it was but it was probably exactly 10'.

anyway werm shut it down, most amazing shit ive ever seen, him and myree..

myree is freaking JACKED.

edit #2: if i would have made my one hander in 2nd dunk of round 2, woulda been final four, fml.. :F

edit: oh ya, i put down caveman as my nickname but the host must have not gotten it, he called me "andrew".. so eventually LOS nicknamed me "castaway" while i was dunking lmao.

thanks so much man, june going to be better though.. time to really dedicate to low lobs which will give me much more possibility to pull off crazy dunks.. gonna dunk less too, probably every other day instead of every day like i did in may.. going to spend that other day (with no dunking) with just doing bball conditioning work nice and relaxed... more 20 rep squats too, prolly squat on dunk days, not every day like i did in may..

basically june is a deload of sort but i should still be improving my hops.. may was brutal.

need some physics/biodynamics gurus to school us on how earlier/later onset of armswing could effect force production.

It's said that the more forceful and explosive the arm drive, the more forceful and explosive will be the leg drive.

right of course, but i'm interested in the timing of it.. slightly different topic.

Are you familiar with the spiral winding technique? Rotate your palms in all the way as your arm swings down and up on the way up. Not sure how much of a difference it makes.  The arm swing is not max speed so I'm not sure how much difference anything really makes as far as the arms/shoulders themselves go, but getting more muscles involved in the unloading (traps, upper back) does seem to be beneficial. I'm pretty sure if you were to do hang or block cleans or snatches for a while you would notice a difference in your 2 hand jump

never tried spiraling

Personally I've alway s felt that if a person is uncordinated enough to the point that their arm swing in the sprint or jumps has very obvious flaws then they probably have a ton of more important things to worry about too. Few things are as useless IMO as the coach wwho lines up group sof 12 year olds and has them sitting on their butts rapidly pumping their arms for sprint technical work.

i've actually done that with groups of kids except I never have them do it rapid, that's when the drill goes to complete crap... :) also it becomes sort of a punishment lmao

edit: Assuming you're HB and Lance is Reverse Hypertrophy, Lance was on some straight TLDR shit in that thread.

let's just say you assumed wrong, as to who is RH.

mindfucked, amirite?

hahaha yeah...so LBSS got it backwards...i kind of figured when i saw all the talk about jump snatching etc.

regardless, lance & I are a double headed dragon who decimate foes with ease.

came home to drop off protein, too hot to leave in trunk but i finally took a redline.. holy shit that crap kicked in fast.. seems like it really is the real deal, sir lance knows whats up.

some math/physiology dudes at my gym are trying to figure this out as part of a larger project to help measure work done over the course of a workout. they're crosstarded, unfortunately, but otherwise they're both very smart so it should be kind of cool to see what they come up with.

nice!!

i imagine biodynamic people could come up with something nice.. i mean, im just thinking about the vectors/forces and it makes some sense that the timing of arm swing could help to maximize the force produced by the legs, if the armswing comes a little earlier in the plant.. if you look at that thread in pics & vids, the one raptor posted, sir isaac is a good example of what i'm talking about.. check that thread out, that's exactly the type of arm swing im talking about..
