Why would u not want to warm up and ramp to ur top set tho? Any particular reason behind?
it's an experiment.. the idea is to greatly reduce overall volume, keep my cns fresher by not using warmups to fire up the cns & go heavier, and finally, to teach my body how to get "amp'd" on the drop of a dime..

When u were still programming my workouts and I told u tts what I did, u said it was sound.
ya warmups are better if you want to go heavy..
this rested max concept is.. you only lift what you aren't afraid of, and that should improve over time.. i wasn't afraid of 305, no shakes, no butterflies, no worrying... if i had any of that, it's a sign it's too heavy to hit without a warmup/workup.

Going straight to ur max sounds like it's gonna be real tough on the knees man.
well so far, it's helped my knees alot.. don't know why exactly, other than the muscular stimulation etc, but they feel real good even without warmup sets.

Oh ya man, if ur still having alot of mucus, hv u tried cutting back on the dairy stuff?
bw = 146 soreness = 0 aches/injuries = right foot, still sick
diet = 5 eggs + 2 habanero + 1 cheese in tortilla, rested max = 305 x 5, did some dunking.. weak still in my jumping, 5 eggs in tortilla + 3 bread + olive oil
