Desisa is a true warrior.

He never gets an easy win. When he wins it at the end (last 1-2 km), he floors it with pure pain on his face etc.

Hawkins with an impressive "come back". Somehow got back in the lead at 40km, was nuts. But the faster dudes eventually smoked him.

first athlete in history to successfully double (gold) @ 10000m / 1500m

- run 11.16 km in 55:21

- stretch

absolutely flawless running conditions: mid-50s/~13 degrees, zero to light breeze, blue sky. the weather makes a big difference in set pace: on a normal 10-11 km run i'm happy with 5:03-08 and four breaths in-four breaths out. today i was at 4:58 and five in-five out.

daamn. we have that weather here maybe 1 week total per year. :ninja:

jealous ;f

3 guys.

right after i posted that, another guy throws 22.90m.

SIFAN HASSAN

10km & 1500m double world champ.

incredible.

when Hassan started moving from the back to the front at 200m in, everyone knew she was going to crank it. 3:51, 4s faster than the fastest time this year by anyone. I think 6th all time?

but the big deal is the 10km/1500m double. first woman to ever do it. doubt many men have done it either. that shows incredible range.

not pooping for a day, let alone days, would wreck me mentally.

i mean if there's no food in there, then maybe not. but if i felt at all like i had stuff in there and it just wasnt rumbling to get out, i'd break down and eat some red kidney beans lol.

During the dry fast I was still peeing small amounts throughout the day, so the body was still making water.
Good to know if I get stranded somewhere for 3 days I can survive without food and water for a bit :)

yup. :ninja:

Oh yeah, needless to say my libido is shot right now...

Reproduction is the last thing you need when your starving I suppose  :derp:

lol damn. and yup makes sense.

bw = 144

tons of very long hold stretching today

injury areas felt like crap after last night's run. sux koz they felt great after the run several days ago.

sprinting after my dog could have tweaked em a bit. i remember feeling it a little after that adrenaline wore off.
