Introduce Yourself / Re: Intro to "beatingravity"
« on: June 25, 2009, 06:57:12 pm »
Beatin' Gravity is up in the house,
beating out sick rhymes with keyboard and mouse.

New to the club, but that's okay,
he knows Darqui rules when you're looking to train.

Science and grit is what we're about,
if you ain't got either then get the Hell out.

Still though your intro was slick and your rhymes damn on key,
Welcome to the site, it's a great place to be.

LOL! I never expected that...

Welcome man!

Yeah, it's fun as hell, but you're sure to injure yourself if you do it long enough.

Leaders of the tricking revolution:

Joe Eigo, very flippy.

Steve Terada, crazy spin kicks

Deans of Parkour:

Darq mentioned David Belle, of course:

My fav from back in the day, Cyril Rafaelli.  Famous for his drops.  Parkour took him to Hollywood.

Progress Journals & Experimental Routines / Re: ADARQ's journal

lol

jumping/sprinting in Power Pants would be epic.

ya man, if your total is WEAK, then anything you do as an athlete is also weak...

if you dont total 2000+, dont talk to me.

I wonder how close some world class sprinters could get to a 2000. Ben Johnson benched 300+ for reps IIRC (may have been 400+) and squatted 600+..

ya well some guys would have some crazy totals.. some guys wouldn't.. you'd find some very fast guys with shitty totals..

alot of sprint coaches do not push the intensity to the max on squat/bench, and especially deadlift.

you'd see major differences among the athletes that drug and those that are clean too.. ben johnson for example..

peace

Clean olympic sprinters?

i should start jumping in a triple ply bench shirt and knee wraps.

Exactly. + Squat suit. Don't forget keep your shins perpendicular.

In the future, all athletes like this:

will be replaced by this:

Program Review / Re: Charlie Francis Programs

Products are great but customer service is shit.  I will never buy another CF product ever again!  >:(
What makes you say that? My dealings with them have been fine, if not limited.

The costumer service at Charlie Francis has been fantastic when I've dealt with them.

When you say double leg bounds do you mean bounding on two legs, or alternating LRLR?

That looks really stupid...

small questionnaire:

1. Are you a morning or evening person (generally)?

Evening

2. What time do you sleep/wake on average?

11pm - 7am due to school, but I would like to sleep from 12am/1am - 9/10am.

3. List the times of day at which you train, label them endurance or power.

I always train at 5pm, give or take about 30 minutes. I feel best at this time.

4. If you'd rather train at a different time, list the time here.

5. any other info? perhaps what you notice in athletes you may train beside yourself?
