« on: November 05, 2010, 10:18:47 pm »Hey arowe. how much has tennis effected your jumping sessions in the past? I wanna peak on Monday but i have tennis singles on sat for 1.5hrs and i want to get in a msem workout as well that day.
I guess it depends on how intense it is. For me, I never really play matches... I just rally for about an hour. That seems to be like a perfect warmup for me, actually most of my big pr's have come right after playing tennis.
There are plenty of times when I play tennis and do a session (lifting/jumping) in the same day, but the tennis is not really that taxing.
If the tennis is going to be pretty intense then I would try to do the MSEM session before it, or, play tennis, eat/rejuvenate, then do the session a few hours later.
