No basketball this week, so hopefully I can catch up on some sleep and recover better. Lifting weights as sporadically as I have been lately has left me sore. Need more focus.

also it'd be awesome to learn how to do a backflip.

Preach it.

That is on my bucket list for sure. It is mostly mental/ technique, one of my co-workers was at least 75 pounds over weight/no longer athletic and could still pull one off due to his gymnastic training as a kid. It was incredible to see.

End of the week got busy and had to stay away from weights. Felt worn out. Saturday I warmed up for squats and got pinned on rep 2 @ 235. Sunday was better.

^^^ Not sure currently, it has definitely gone up. I will have to give it a go one of these days and find out. Hopefully close to 300, or so says the 1rm calculator.

Took it easy last week, and only played basketball. By Friday I felt like an all-star, better then I have in ages. Finally lifted again on Sunday and 260 felt good, I didn't have the capacity to get 5 reps, but it was solid. One rep shy on my bench @ 205 for 25 reps. Even racked it waited 10 seconds then got pinned.

255 has gotten easier this last week. 3 reps were solid on Thursday and got the 5x5 on Sunday. Didn't feel beastly or motivated but it happened, so I will step it up to 260 and give it a go tomorrow. My calf locked up on me this morning while playing basketball, It has taken stretching and smashing to get it to ok. Hopefully I will head the warning and give it the love it deserves. My right hamstring is also asking for love also, as always.

255 felt a lot better than I thought it would this week. Feeling beastly just getting in solid strong reps. I need to up my volume on deadlift's as they feel stale, but that may be more then I can manage currently.

They can shrink your balls and cause you to go bald. Do you need other reasons not to do it??

Everything I know about steroid use is from watching "bigger, stronger, faster" but isn't the ball shrinking thing an urban legend?

I had a great week but my workout schedule got messed up. Tried to squat 250 on friday but it was not going to happen. Sunday things finally came together 5x5x250 happened, reps felt strong and solid. Got my bench back to 200. progress.

Felling great last night, motivation was low but got myself to the squat rack. Went from 5 today reps at 250 to 20 total reps. I was a little gassed to get the full 25, but it felt like major progress since Saturday. Deadlift has not been locked in either the last few weeks, but it clicked back in yesterday. Played ball less then 8 hours after work out and my legs felt boss. I need more of this in my life.

This week was pretty good, got 5x5x245 pretty easy. My mind was off that day but my body pulled through. Deadlift has suffered, I was looking to pull 5 reps at 270 and could not even budge it. My body was still wreck on saturday, so 250 on squat was not happening. My right arm is still not feeling the bench press but I was able to get 5x5x195.
