yea mate much faster.

i'm not a big fan of the lime green, but it's growing on me. I'm uneasy about change, preferring the familiar old look, but this one is much snappier and fresher.

ya, the lime green shit will take some time but it'll grow on everyone trust..

I love how deeply nested quotes get darker and darker, very cool.

same. i also love how when you hover over any link, it dissolves into another color..

Haven't been here in a long time, just moved into uni accomodation, so stressfull, cooking, waking up early.

How's everything adarq, workouts looking good.

i had this weird understanding that quads were not a good muscle to develop as it might overshadow might hams, so i concentrated on improving my hams and glutes.

well, it's hard to overdevelop the quads if you're lunging & doing direct glute/ham work

having really beast quads ties in directly to vertical jump and short acceleration with sprints.

best quad activation stuff I know if is just the simple unloaded TKE's... either ISO or for rep-minis..

just sit down, in a leg-extension type of position, and extend both legs.. focus on really 'squeezing that vmo'.. you can hold this for time or do little controlled reps etc.. just turn on those quads manually, works really well..

other than that, you'd have to turn on the quads dynamically with stuff like double or single leg pogos etc.. stiff leg.



as for some direct quad work (other than squat/lunges), I like leg-extension tke's for high reps (with weight on the stack), sissy squats (body weight), and utilizing HIGH REP squat/lunge schemes...

20 rep squats and long distance lunges just smash the quads.

we got attacked last night again, firewalled a ton of ip's..

the odd thing about this attack is, whoever is doing it, is all over google as a chronic 'offender' in terms of spam/attacks etc.....

so there's obviously no evidence linking this to a-link etc... but i mean it is ironic how the attacker was requesting adam linkenauger's CALL EM OUT threads etc.. 150+ apache processes jammed up.

i'm surprised singlehop hasn't been dealt with, given the amount of complaints/incidents you can find on google.

right off the bat i want to add a feature where anyone can 'control' the 'top comment', at the very top of the site.. so if someone PR's/wants to share a vid, they can edit that.. any other user who adds a comment, will replace it.. so it's kind of like a temporary thing to get some extra attention :d

body is currently wrecked after my single leg work today.. calves/quads/hamstrings = wrecked.

planned on squatting today but still too much hamstring soreness, not going to force anything



workout:
- some single leg jogs

- 1 mile run x 2

I remember you talking about those sits lately again. I am interested to use them to improve flexibility/mobility/posture, everything regarding full squatting of course.
So the question, how do you do them? do you rise on your toes in the hole to keep perfect upright tosro, OR do heels always touch the ground and you try to push as better posture as you can?

similar to what lbss said except i let my heels off the ground.. i change up how i keep my back/torso and how i shift my knees etc real slow to try and loosen everything up.

im at the point where i can stay down there for a pretty long time now... when i do these, it definitely loosens up some 'junk' in my knee/tight fascia-muscle-tendons all jammed up in there.

sometimes i put my hands on the ground in front of right below me etc.. change up the angles alot etc.

You have 343 positive votes for 3835 total posts , thats about 1 positive per 11 posts.
I have 279 positive votes for 2105 total posts , thats about 1 postitive per 7,5 posts.

So you have a higher absolute positive votes count but my posts are relatively more respected than yours.

SORENESS = hamstrings a ton
FATIGUE = low


right knee bugged on double leg reactive work, so did all single & it felt fine with single... that same old tendonitis-ish stuff from that bicycle overuse injury i had way back.. still there.. i'll be fine tho.


SESSION:

1) lots of single leg stuff: single leg rebounds, single leg box (16") jumps etc..
 - weak but decent considering

2) DB shrugs: 60 x 10, 80 @ 3 x 10
3) Paused Plate Swings: 35 lb @ 3 x 10
4) Single Arm DB Bench: 40 lb @ 14, 14, 15
