doc called again this afternoon, just to check in. i feel fine now. i actually felt fucking spectacular this morning but unfortunately it had worn off by the time i got to the gym tonight. still no word on the west nile,

i'm supposed to call back on thursday if i haven't heard from them.

that waiting game sucks especially when you might have something like west nile.

my roommate is now sick, presumably with the same virus.   

damn.. west nile can spread like that though? from person to person? or are you all getting bit by mosquitos around there.

florida has hardly seen any mosquitos this year, it's unbelievable.. yet cases of west nile/malaria are up, especially in texas, so i hear.

hope it's def not west nile.

S1: db curl: 30 lb @ 7,7

S2: plate swing controlled: 35 lb @ 2 x 12
S2: db hammer curl: 30 lb @ 7,6

DB single arm bench press: very slow/controlled: 40 lb @ 15, (R=15,L=16) wtf

DB holds to failure: 80 lb @ 3xF

Mess around with the layout of the forum all you want Adarq, what I meant by how much I liked this (and I'm assuming other people too) is that it's just a much cleaner format than the old version. 

for sure man i'm excited about how this will turn out.

No offense, but the old version of the site was "ugly" in my opinion hahha (still the best forum on the internet).

ya, it was "ok", nothing beautiful.. I want to perfect the site layout, every aspect of it, eventually... I have alot of work to do but I'd love for it to just look like a masterpiece maybe 6 months from now.

But yeah with a nice clean format and different matching colors and etc.. I'm sure the forum can look MUCH better than this, since this is only a default layout.

Oh and i agree with your tactic , much better to go back to a clean state and build it from the beginning with a better architecture than trying to patch the old code. It would be full of bugs and unable to be updated next time needed. So im sure you have it in mind already but take your time and build it wise , always have future updates/plugins in mind. Might take a little longer to 'air' the 1st version but it's allways worth the wait. And after a long time when a major update will be implemented easily because of the work you've done you will feel god , been there! Nerd programers rant off, pc

yup.. i was sitting there saying to myself: "im modding smf 1.x heavily, when 2.x is much more recent/modern/stable", so I finally just said f**k it and decided to do the upgrade. I had been planning the upgrade for a long time but I knew it was going to be a bich.. I can re-implement the calculators/fun stuff real fast so that's no problem.. this code base is much cleaner, faster, and simple, so it is definitely worth it.. plus it'll probably be easier to migrate from 2.x to 3.x than it was from 1.x to 2.x... that's a forethought.

tonight I will battle the pretty-urls.. I had it working last night to ~80%.. viewing threads with pretty urls works, it's just posting that seems to be the issue.. when you post, it goes through, but then it somehow gets stuck in an endless loop of translating the origina urls -> pretty urls -> repeat.

hope to get that working tonight so i don't have to worry about it any more.

ya i see everyone loves this default theme.. well, im def going to tweak the colors a bit and make it look even cleaner.. the old site was from 4 years ago or so when i didn't have webdev skills, so i should be able to make this thing look even classier/cleaner.. i can't settle for a default theme tho that'd be whack..

im not going to deviate too far from this though, everyone will be happy.

also, it's "bear" with me, not "bare" with me, unless you mean you want us all to get naked together.
