Glad to see you getting consistent at it. Start posting times/weight etc, kinda slowly easing into progress tracking route  ;)

thanks vag. ya, i'll probably start tracking progress with the progress-tracker template once i get under 180.. i've just recently got under 190 and my body is starting to adapt to  'athletics' again -> my runs are starting to feel 'strong'.

trying not to get too competitive with myself yet... soon though :)

vibram's run: ~3.5 miles

fast again.. back to back fast days = good.. probably going to take tomorrow off to avoid overdoing it with my feet etc, running in vibram's is intense.. it's perhaps surprising i've been able to handle them as good as i have though.... only recently coming back and being able to run in them fairly safely.

when I was running in those NB minimus shoes, i'd get sore in my quads/hips/back etc.... I also ran much slower. With vibram's, i'm getting sore in my calfs/feet slightly. So, those shoes are helping me use my real mechanics, lots of lower leg spring.

light + in shape + vibram's = perhaps my fastest running ever? lmao.. we'll see.. got alot of work to do before I get there. I can't foresee running huge distance in vibram's though..... who knows maybe i'll get significantly strong in a few months, able to handle them like i did NZWR's.

;f

pc folks!@$@!

ps: i'm also starting to think about single leg jumping waaay down the road... EH!!!!!!! I'm not jumping at all though until i'm in excellent shape.

feeling a bit sore after.. but the run felt so good. I love running in vibram's.. makes me want to run mooore. Forces me to run alot faster too. Feels like freedom.

Listened to this lecture while running: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3dkRsTqdDA

Simon Peyton Jones is one of my favorite computer scientists.. That talk is simply on writing great research papers. The guy is one of the best speakers i've ever listened to. Every one of his talks is so engaging and full of energy.

beast.
