might try and get some morning runs in, in the near future.. those would be 1mi tops, using my vibram's. 1mi tops would be doable before work.

~4 mi run: 30 min
- weak run

Going to start keeping track of times/distances.. Was going to wait until I was under 160 but who cares, i'll do it now. 8|

unprivated some videos on adarqtv today.. been wanting to unprivate some slrvj dunk vids.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_nXbwu89fA" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_nXbwu89fA</a>

also got me itching to eventually do some jumps when i get back under 160. If I jump again, i'd probably focus on slrvj (left and right). One thing I want to stay away from is the iron game, it's just too addicting for me.

i do miss the 'spiritualness' of jumping/dunking.. was more than just an activity.

Geriatric Dunker perhaps? ehh!!!

also unprivated this 315 @ 145 rested max

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pevMW18KsLw" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pevMW18KsLw</a>

also unprivated this dunk session, one of my favorite dunk sessions of all time:

lame.. last friday out of nowhere my left foot became wrecked. Felt so good after my last long-distance run. sooo, anyway, after resting more (until today), I got a run in.

12/24/2014

- ~3.5 mi run
- as fast as possible, constantly pushing the pace.

felt good.. that foot injury was scary, i could barely walk.. it happened out of nowhere too, i felt great after my last run (sun, mon, tues, wed, thurs), then bang friday it felt like i had extreme plantar fasciitis or a 'bone' issue, sharp pain.

soo, going to ease back in a bit to try and keep this injury from resurfacing.

Just thought i'd log my stir fry:

broccoli, carrots, baby portobella mushrooms, white mushrooms, asparagus, jalapeno.. in an olive oil/merlot sauce.

Mushrooms was beyond ridiculous.

Need to get in some rice & beans calories tomorrow/thursday to prepare for next run.

- Felt bouncy tonight.. finally. I was getting some decent 'air' (lol) when I'd 'slrvj' onto the curbs etc.

felt good, didn't it, lol
good job keep it up

ya man! thanks! The key for me is to recover after these intense sessions, focus on my nutrition, and then mentally prepare for the next one. When it comes to intense training, i've lost the ability to give 100% intensity every session. Trying to get that back.. should happen over the next few months.

Also, on friday, mayweather challenged pacquiao to 2nd may, too many false news, hope this one is true.

ya, getting close! responded to your thread in boxing.

nah nah adarq, if you keep getting into running i give even odds that you end up doing an ultra. maybe not a hundred, but an ultra. you don't seem to do things halfway very much...

hah.. ya something is wrong (or not) with me.

well, I'd like to run at least marathon distance fairly fast.. I just like there to be some decent speed component. Running "long" and "fast" has always felt amazing to me. Going to have lots of free time soon, ie, no work for a while ;0. Probably will register for some 5-10k's and stuff etc.

Regarding "doing things halfway"; i've put in my resignation at the startup i've been working at for the last 2 years, in order to take ~8-12 months off to focus hard on mathematics/computer science. Need to fix my foundation. Plus, i'm just obsessed with the academic side of computer science & recently mathematics. I just love learning. Need to eventually find out how to get paid researching from home :)

Boxing / Re: 13/12/2014 a great a night of boxing
« on: December 17, 2014, 12:23:32 am »
excellent night of fights..

you forgot one mention: Andy Lee.

Dude he is becoming so predictable. He gets beat for most of the fight then somehow KO's his opponent. When people get too confident against him, they get caught. Then it's game over.

Andy Lee has been very impressive lately. Korobov is no joke, highly touted prospect. He fought decent against korobov then hit him with that canon.

Also, Mares looked very impressive. His opponent was tough, not necessarily highly skilled. Mares had a few ~8-10 punch combinations in that fight, so much speed + power. He's looking good lately. I lost hope for him last year, but he's earning that respect back. Looks like he's definitely improving.

Wow what an excellent night of boxing, loved the hbo fight and showtime. firstly bradley vs chaves

that guy is tough, but bradley had a good gameplan of boxing and trying to power punch the other guy is good aswell, he was good counter punching and can take a punch and that guy was swinging and countering, and they both were trying to knockout each other from round 1 without any signs of tiring, but when I heard one person gave it to chaves, i was like what?, second guy gave it to bradley was good than i was thinking the third guy is a good judge and he gave it a draw  :uhcomeon: i was shocked. man bradley's eyes swole up, on the cheek aswell lol.

ya wtf was up with his cheek? was his jaw broken? everyone kept mentioning his eye but damn his cheek was wrecked.

It was a decent fight for sure, i'm just always in awe of bradley's lack of power.. He needs to tighten up his punches, he throws lots of sloppy shots (though with good speed etc).

the thurman fight was good, but the 40 year old fighter was good also, he would not go down but he was also undefeated, but he was very awkward for thurman, thurman was not able to do much, so funny everybody boing thurman because he didn't knockhim out, pathetic, but he said I will fight the way i want to fight lol, they are not the ones boxing.

Very impressed with Bundu's conditioning/speed/ability. He's such an awkward fight. Those fans suck for booing because that was definitely a tough fight for Thurman. Thurman didn't look as powerful as normal, perhaps too many shoulder injuries as of late? I just think Bundu was hard for him to time/predict. I imagine he's a tough fight for anyone. I was impressed with Thurman's boxing ability. He's the total package: power + skill.

finally, khan vs alexander, a favorite fight, i like this khan more, very minimum holding, this is the khan i knew and liked, he was fast and he doesn't have knockout power so khan didn't have to be very cautious but sometimes he would jump in but it was a little and go caught but composed himself and continued, he was very good fast and would love to see khan vs mayweather.

Alexander has pretty much become a sparring partner.. The guy just can't "turn it on" (hit that next gear).. really sucks because he's obviously talented.

Khan came out pretty fierce to start that fight. He acts so much different now. He has lots of 'angry aggression'.

so an excellent knight of fighting, the first fight on the hbo broadcast, the decision was outrageos, i heard, saw highlight, can't believe they gave the decision to benavidez, lol, cost him the title.

I feel bad for Herrera.. This is the second time i've seen him robbed. I watched him beat Danny Garcia in Puerto Rico only to get robbed by the judges, just like he did in this fight.. Some people have no luck.

Boxing needs to be investigated, this shit is becoming criminal.

:headbang: great fights

ya!

Did you notice that, everyone who fought 'backing up' won? Something to be said about that..

Mayweather/Pacquiao getting closer.. lots of shit talking/calling each other out.. hope that fight gets made, would be enormous.

ha nice. I think the most i'd ever do though is a marathon. Running for 20+ hours straight seems a bit much. ;f

great run.

All of the rest/good eating i've been doing is starting to pay off. I've been eating lots of veggie stir frys lately. Packed with broccoli/carrots/jalapeno/mushrooms etc. Need to mix it up for my next batch of veggies which i'll get tomorrow.

1 hour 40 min run
- Ran the same distance I ran last time, plus ~2 miles, in a total of 20min less
- ^^ good progress
- Felt bouncy tonight.. finally. I was getting some decent 'air' (lol) when I'd 'slrvj' onto the curbs etc.
- Was able to keep a fast pace the entire run.
- I fell towards the end, tripped on a broken piece of sidewalk. lul.
