Biggest test for Thurman, this is what i've been hoping for. Guerrero always brings it. He doesn't have enough defense for Thurman though, he's got too much bravado for his own good. Thurman's shots can crush you so i suspect guerrero will get wrecked.

ya lamont is fast and has vicious body shots. Garcia seems to pull out every win though, even if he actually loses (ie vs herrera). If it goes 12, garcia wins. I give garcia a bit more credit tho for his left hook, it's pretty lethal. He beat mattyse who beat lamont, but that doesn't mean much.

Only other test like this for garcia was mattyse. Lamont's much more battletested.

interesting fight, no idea who wins this one.

Session: Jump, Jog

shoes: nbmt

Warmup: ~3/4th mi run to bball court

Jumps:
- SLRVJ @ ~10 each leg. Maybe 10'3 touch jumping off left. Right felt a bit better but no rim touch
- SVJ: ~114" "touch" (touching air). lmao, svj is so awful, impressive. Felt very far from rim.

Jog: ~3 mi run
- dead, mixed in some sl hops


slrvj continues to give me hope. lool

Jump:
- slrvj light/medium
- L slrvj x 20, R slrvj x 20
- highest touch: L slrvj = ~120"
- jumping off of my right leg felt a little better

Jog: 4 mi

Session: Jog & Run

shoes: nbmt

~4 mi run:
- "full speed" heel strike runs mixed in with my jog @ ~6
- fairly brutal, lactic acid went way up, handled it decent though; kept some kind of pace jogging. Eventually i'd like to see if I could do some legit sprints mixed in while keeping a decent jogging pace.


Body feels it from those jumps yesterday.. all it took was a few. Don't feel that bad tho.

i like that reverse over someone where he dropped it with 1 hang instead of two.. nice little variation to the dunk he normally does.

Ok so I finally gave in -> performed a few SLRVJ's tonight at a local court. Took a quick detour from my run, got in 6 jumps.

I've had this recurring dream (~3x) over the last ~3 months or so. It's me jogging but, occasionally jumping ~20 feet into the air.


Session: Jog & Jump

shoes: nbmt

Run: ~3.4 mi run with slrvj's (L/R) mixed in
- slow, the after effects of each jump would fatigue me.
- felt jumps in quads/calfs

Jumps: 1/4th the way into my 3.4 mi run
- 3 SLRVJ's each at 10' rims
- L SLRVJ: ~10'2 touch on third jump
- R SLRVJ: no 10' touch
- 2 DLRVJ's: no 10' touch

Later: Stretching


whoa. jumping is crack. Surprised I was even able to hit the rim. Jumps didn't feel so bad tbh, which again is surprising given my weight/havn't jumped in ~2+ years? maybe 3?

I like this "jog and jump" concept hehe. it's fun. Eventually it would be fun to go to a court and just jog back and forth SLRVJ'n off L and R legs nice and relaxed, trying to get 10' touches. This time around i'll probably be SLRVJ'n, both legs, with lots of simple training methods like sprints, jogging, jog and jump, some level of reactive work/bounds/pogos/tucks, stretching etc. 2015 is the year of relaxation, studying (math/comp sci/physics), research / programming, simple training etc.

cramped up during my run today.. tried running as fast as possible, just had too big of a lunch.

need to stop eating lunch, feel better when i skip it. breakfast + dinner, i feel better.

1.3 mi run
- fast
- sprints, ~3-4 x ~100 or so

first time doing sprints in a LONG time.. felt great in vibrams.. wrecked me pretty bad though i'm ubertired.
