Progress Journals & Experimental Routines / Re: ADARQ's journal

aye aye aye...  i guess there are few of us in the back stiffness club.  hot bath definitely helps.  i need to hit up a hot spring (tons in Taiwan actually, and since it's like 8c out right now it'd feel extra good).  as i mentioned briefly before i super miss the bikram hot yoga (40c or 105f) 90 minute bullet sweating hot sessions.  if you guys have the time i highly recommend trying it out.  it's a superb cardio and flexibility work out.  so i went to see a famous weirdo TCM (traditional chinese medicine) doctor for my back stiffness.  he says it's an accumulation of cold/dampness and also from not warming up enough before i ball.  i hate to believe that i don't warm up enough because i usually try to but some days i do not like when i just arrive and game starts...  the TCM's view is always, pay now or pay later.  this starts as young as a 3 years old.  which is why truly flexible people starts way young.  there are few rare exceptions (some ppl are naturally more flexible, and remains so even with out ever stretching) but generally stays true.  meaning, even if you're 18 and you feel like you don't need to warm up, you will pay for in the future.

i did remember it right.  with in few hundred feet 25.067001,121.468609 there's 10 more full courts.  so total of 20 bball courts within that sports park.  heheh.

when i was in China i only only visited QuanZhou and ShengZhen both are huge industrial cities now (and quite dirty).  my bro was working and i didn't get to go around and check out the any places by myself.  in HK i did get a brief moment to check out Victoria Park and it had 4 full courts.  didn't see any impressive ballers there.  couple of ABC looking dudes were okay.  as for park, the biggest one i've seen is actually here in Taipei.  it's in the river bank and it has...  at least 10 courts.  let me try to find it on google maps.

indeed it has 10 courts.  25.063727,121.474348

oops, actually not sure what that court is.  but just north west of it is the bball court.  10 courts.  25.070802,121.461655

hey, just found this.  could be useful in the future!  http://www.courtsoftheworld.com

wow, 1st one you can clearly see he got up really high (his head)...  very nice 1 leg jumps with good take offs.  love the transition up.

ps, i didn't even realize until few reviews later that he move the ball between the legs on the 1st one!  damn he did it fast...

Nutrition & Supplementation / Re: Protein powder

so, i'm done with my first kg of whey isolate.  going to order another kg.  but this time i'm thinking about also getting a kilo of casein as well to compliment the whey isolate.  what do you guys think?  the casein protein in taiwan is selling for 780nt (~$25.60) per kg or about $11.6.  price seems decent and i only need to buy a kg at a time.  the label says per 100g serving it has whopping 97g of protein as well as 1400mg of calcium.  with the slower releasing property i guess i'll be taking these at night and the none gym days.

is it me or is this bbs software pretty simplistic?  i don't even see a thread subscription button.  for me, i saw a few logs where the guys are pretty much my height and reach 5'10"-5'11" and i like to keep track of them and compare progress...
