man my right big toe is fucked.. just so weird.

prior to yesterday, it actually healed up.. felt great. Then yesterday (after a rest day), it felt wrecked wtf.. Today it felt wrecked as well, then i tried saving some butterfly which was roasting on these hot steps, stayed on a bit longer than i probably should have, and now it's wrecked*2.. left foot is completely fine - so the heat didn't affect my left foot.. so there's something going on, in this one spot of my toe, which is just baffling: now it feels like nerve damage PLUS burn damage.

just logging for future reference.

Fuarkk big toe problems are just shit.

I see game 4 being close again and game 5 another blowout. CLE will be pissed after this game. Up by 18 or whatever it was and to lose is criminal.

Man I feel sick watching that last quarter. So many bad shots by Cle and so much poor defense.

*Edit- Jerebko is now among my list of hated players. Dropping the shoulder multiple times in screens without calls. Damn

Forgot to mention that after the game last week we had a mini dunking session (when the hammy was still warm). Threw down a few nice one handers off one and then a one hander off two feet off one step (try saying that ten times fast lol). First time I've dunked off two feet in years and felt pretty good. Anyway, going by the Maxent measuring method I need 22" to reach the rim and was hitting in between my wrist and forearm on the ring. That's about 12" giving me a 34" vert with ball in hand off the dribble. I'll take that any day of the week. Once the hammy has recovered I'll get down to the courts and get something on film to make sure. Feels pretty good given I haven't had much jumping practice.

Yeah there's definitely an element of that. Especially when he flops on offence.

I hope the cats push this one. Destroy them.

Maybe,  maybe not. I would imagine he's running out of steam after everything he's been through as well. Plus LeBron is hitting ridiculous numbers right now.

Semi final ball game last night. Easy win for us and onto the grand final next week. Only problem is I twinged the right hammy in the first 2 minutes on a fast break. Played out the rest of the game and felt ok but am definitely struggling today. Sore and stiff but I'm hoping it's not that bad and I can turn it around for next week. No leg training for the next week. Hoping I will pull up ok.

With your build you should focus on getting your squat + deadlift to a reasonable level - 4x bodyweight is pretty great for a basketball player.

The club game is on Sunday against the Tigers. Hopefully I pull up alright after the game and don't feel too tired as I'll literally be sitting on a bus for 10 hours on Saturday (5 hours travelling to Mildura and another 5 hours travelling back after the game).

Damn that's a lot of travel. Need some good bus recovery strategies.

16/05/2017- 8.30pm

A1) RDL- bar x 10, 60 x 5
DL- 80 x 5, 110 x 3

A2) Tuck FL- 10s x 4

A3) Pike PU x 5, 5, 5, 5

Nearly the quickest session ever. The motivation is coming back to train harder but just glad to get something done at the moment. Front lever felt seriously good on two of the sets. Lat and core engagement was high. Also on DLs at 60 and 80 the lat engagement was tremendous. Something I don't normally get.
