Yesterday nothing, Netflix recommended a new docuseries and I got drawn in
It's called Don't fuck with cats
so in 2010 I think a guy was posting videos of him killing cats online and people on fb were pissed and formed a group to look at the videos to find clues to find the guy. Well the guy ended up joining the group and taunting them and left clues in his videos.
So he eventually graduates to filming himself killing someone which brings in the police and they chase him around europe etc etc.
SO yeah the people who tracked him down just go through the whole thing and it was super weird but still interesting.
i recall being pretty amp'd on my best jumps/dunks.
i've had some great relaxed jumps, but my best jumps were all very aggressive.
"aggressive & loose" vs "aggressive & tight": sometimes you do get some incredible performances when you aren't trying as hard. ie look at T&F events, where someone's early jump/throw could be their best. more "relaxed" could be an observation. potentially more efficient nervous system, relying more on programmed motor patterns instead of trying to force them etc. i imagine there's some kind of fine line/groove that each person has to figure out. could be a little different between some folks.
i like the one ur getting the best. one with white on the bottom kinda looks like half tights poking thru, dno. i'm not a camo fan but that's decent camo (not annoying army camo).
One of my BBall shorts I have incoming - hopefully it looks OK on me I couldn't decide between 2Xl or 3Xl as these asian sizes tend to run 2 sizes smaller - I normally wear between L, and XL for baggier look 57 vs 59cm in length
yes I'm a sucker for camo look gear
The pockets have zippers, unusual. Li Ning Badfive branded stuff. I may get the white one later as well
Getting the green Camo one as well in a smaller 2XL size
pretty cool design, but i couldn't see me wearing it, as I'm an introvert
customer pic wearing 3XL, at 5'6".....
Looking at the pics it seems the fit is more slim fitting on the legs, so better larger size than too small
daaamn @ oxy after wisdom's. they prescribe that stuff too easily.
i remember having otc pain killers after wisdom's, like advil or something.
kind of annoyed, i had no idea because my family picked up the scripts and i never actually saw the script (it was after the op), but it just makes me shake my head. i didnt even remember taking the oxy just saw i googled 'side effects' aroudn when i threw up. i was already off my mind with the drugs they gave me during the op so it was unncessary. And in addition to that i have been given two boxes of codapane Forte 500/30(paracetemol, codeine) which i haven't touched. why do i need so many pain killers? it's over kill. i would have understood saying here is a script IF you need it but just take panadol. so i have 3 boxes of painkillers i havent touched basically but im not really at risk of opioids so no harm done.
ya man it's crazy.
and good that you threw it up and stayed off em`. not worth taking unless in some true extreme pain i'd guess. seems too risky.
BS 6x70, 1x90, 2x100, OHP 6x40, Push Up 3x8xbw, Curls 3x8x20kg Walk - 10k steps for day
Light workout day after having 4 wisdom removed. Dentist was a star so no pain or discomfort but his drug protocol could use some work. Mf wrote me a script for Oxycontin .. that stuff is nasty, i threw up my dinner. Not taking anymore and as it happens, i didnt need any pain relief leave alone something that powerful.

If soreness allows me, i intend to attempt a 5K PR tonight, not at my default uphill-downhill course, i have spotted a flat course, tarmac surface , a square circuit of 500m, so 10 rounds.
17 December 2019
Bodyweight@session : ??? Soreness : legs sore all over, new sore muscles = abductors and hamstrings from squatting. chest and lats also having DOMS Injuries/aches : none
Body condition was not ideal for a lifetime PR attempt but i had to: Weather was unexpected hot (15'C at 8PM) and somewhat dry (77% right next to the sea ), plus next days i have various errands and then im off for Xmas holidays, then id be de-trained etc etc, so it was last night or never.
-Warmup slow jog + stome strides 1.75km
-5K TIME TRIAL : 23:56 ,
-Cool down slow jog 1.75km
Wowowow, now that's a way to end the year! -Planned it very well as you can see at the tracker screenshot too. Goal paces were 5:10-5:05-5:00-4:50-4:4x. Stayed close to the plan but was ~10'' faster feeling i am keeping some reserves too. Kept at it without letting me go to exhaustion, then at the last 1.5 km went all out, for sure 100%. You can even see the little bump-up at the start of that final attempt at the tracker. -Destroyed my (only achieved in races ) PR by about 1,5 minute , broke 25' milestone, broke 24' too , all km splits are below 5' , last kms were 4:40, 4:36,while ive done faster than than 4:45 only at 1KM sprints after resting. Multi PRs, i think that is like a level-up certificate. Magnificent, such a warm rewarding feeling. Happy!
damn dude nice. crushing it to end the year. that's a major PR considering solo vs race. all splits under 5, great work!
That's a ton of water to lose in just a night. I know I've lost ~8lbs of water weight before, but that's after eating a ton of food and being carbed up + salted up, so I was retaining a lot of water. Special case. I also get up once or twice a night to pee.
That's one reason why I weigh myself when dry fasted. It's a more consistent measurement. My starting weight non dry fasted may have been around 206lbs, but i weighed in at 201.8lbs dry fasted.
Part of overnight water weight loss is due to the moisture lost in your breathing overnight.
Here's the link to my video describing my theory about how to train to improve vertical leap, and exactly how I do it in my small apartment.
If you do heavy dead lifts at home that has a yard, you can use my technique and drop the barbell at the top of the lift on the grass/ground/sand. It would be nice if some younger guy's on this forum to try my technique for a few months and see what happens.
the exercise itself looks decent but awkward -> same leg/same arm seems awkward to me. i feel like using opposite arm/leg might feel a bit more stable and allow you to get a "better" angle on the "single leg squat" while holding the db right underneath you. have you tried that? if so: like or dislike it?
if i didn't have barbells/rack etc, i imagine that exercise would have some effectiveness. i'd personally do other stuff as well, not just that exercise.
i did single arm db exercises and found them effective (sl db squat, sl db rdl, sl db bench), but I never did those variations "concentric only" with a drop.
